What to look for in online exercise programs before signing up for one

Since the boom of the new age technology, people choose to sign up for online exercise programs instead of going to the gym and work out with expensive personal trainers. There are also a lot of online fitness programs that even offer free trials to those who sign up. But before you do sign up for any website you have to know what to look for in a legitimate online exercise program.

Certification

There are many people who claim to be professional fitness trainers. It is also easy to find websites that say they are professional in the field of fitness and exercise. But be wise enough to research a bit about a website’s authenticity and above all if its trainers have the certification to actually practice fitness training.

Free trial

Many online exercise programs offer 5 days to 10 days free trial. But to actually see results, it is recommended to undergo a 30 day free online exercise program Online Exercise Programs For Weight Loss, Muscle Body Building Programs, Nutritional Program which gives you ample time to get used to the routines and see results. After your 30 day trial you will be so happy with the results that you would sign up for regular membership.

Personalized workouts

Everyone’s body is unique. Choose a website that gives personalized workouts that suit your body, the equipment available and the time frame that you can workout.

Online Personal trainer

An online personal trainer should be available so you can get the guidance you need as you start your regular exercise regimen. He or she can also give you exercise tips so you won’t strain yourself as you familiarize yourself with the exercises.

Comprehensive database of Exercises

A good exercise website should have a complete database of exercises based on the clients workout level. This allows the client to pick some alternative routines to motivate them.

Progress reports

Free online workout sites should also provide their client with a progress report or a way to track progress as they go through their day to day exercises.

Workout reminders

Since this is done at home it is best that the website you sign up with has a workout reminder feature. This way you will never forget a session.

Articles on Health and Fitness

A good website should also have articles on health and fitness. This feature educates the client and makes them understand the importance of what their trainer is asking them to do.

Online Books & videos

Having online books and videos is also a great feature, especially if the client is so enthusiastic about the program and would want to know more about how to reach his or her goals.

Nutritional guidance and Recipes

A good online fitness program will work best when done with proper diet. The best websites have nutritional guidance and even healthy recipes for the clients to try.

FAQ section

People who are new to working out online will have many questions in mind. A frequently asked question section or FAQ is a much needed feature.

Live Chat Support

One other special feature is a live chat support system where the clients’ concerns can be answered immediately through live chat.

Every website is unique and will try to sway you through their promos and promises. But what you really need is a website that will give you lasting results and will keep you exercising for life.

Piece of advice for anyone wanting to use an online alternative to in person training support.
Remember the online support will not be there checking your form etc. so the liklihood of doing something dangerously wrong is far higher.
As someone who is certified, not just certifiable, with qualifications older than some of the people who come here asking for help, has years of experience training myself and others I can honestly say there is no replacement for someone being right there with you.
Considering how often I have given advice here this will look very hypocritical and it is, but I always advise caution especially for beginners.
PTs can be expensive and as with any profession a minority of them are useless, but most aren't. When you look at the cost of phsiotherapy etc. however the cost of getting it right first time suddenly looks very reasonable.
A lot of gyms will have people who will help you out free of charge, they are called gym-goers, but as with anything assess advice from these guys carefully.

I've contemplated how I'd run online training. I don't think I'd even bother with it if I didn't have an extensive library of technique videos that teach you how to do each exercise that I'd anticipate teaching, and if clients didn't have the ability to send me weekly videos of their training so that I can assess their technique and give them some key points to work on each week. Just giving people a bunch of workouts to do each week, without seeing how they're going with the exercises they're doing, is something I couldn't ethically take money for.

Makes sense buddy,Basically its about how something works for you whether that is a online websites or through a personal trainer. The plan that you follow has to work for you and that is the way. Most of the times we do search buy art online but don't really follow them the way they are necessary and than it stops working.
