What program do I do?

Hi everyone!!
So I'm in desperate need to lose 20lbs but I have no clue where to start. What programs are working for you? I need some direction on where to start. There are so many programs out there. I'm confused.

I've got a cool program that works.

1.) Do half hour of cardiovascular exercise a day, where your heart rate is about 125-135 BPM.

2.) Eat about ~1800 calories a day, with adequate protein and fiber from fresh, raw fruits and vegetables. Avoid process foods, if only because they don't fill you up like enough fiber will.

3.) 8 glasses of water a day.

Ding! Should come off 1-2 lbs a week. Repeat as necessary.

Really is that simple. And deceptively, deliciously, difficult.
 
80% (give or take) of weight loss is diet. Eat what you normally eat, and then take 1/5 off every plate / bowl of your non-vegetable and non-protein foods (potatoes, rice, pasta, etc).

If you have a gym membership, spend about 10m warming up, 30m of cardio (light jog works as long as your heart rate goes up) and then 20m doing weight training (doing 15-20 reps of each exercise). I would doing body weight exercises like squats, pushups, pullups, dips, lunges, etc.
 
I agree with all of the above. Pretty much every method works as long as you stick with it. So look at what sacrifices you´re really willing to make, what you can do that won´t be bad for your health (very restrictive methods are not only hard to stick with but also bad for your body in the long run) and prepare to commit to change.
