What has been your "reminder" moment?

I had a 'reminder' moment yesterday on my way home from work. I was having an extremely long day, hadn't had time to eat lunch due to travelling here and there for a work project and was hearing the call of a drive thru. In my search for a McD's, (I was in an unfamilar town) I was stopped by a bus slamming on it's brakes in front of me. I looked up as we were about to go under a lightrail bridge with a sign on it. The way the bus was blocking the sign it said "You can....do it". I don't know what the whole sign says, but that was enough to keep me out of the drive thru :driving:... I weighed myself this morning and I'm 5lbs down.

well mine's a little different....but i was organising our end of year work chrissy do, and my boss had told me to check out the V8 motorcars, and get prices etc.

i just remember thinking oh god no! then i remembered - i was only scared because last time we went i couldn't fit in the suits and looked an absolute fool!! but now, being a size 8-10, its probably gonna be ok :)

so thats my, 'uh yeah, why would you ever wanna go back' - or the first one i've really had...

Wow! :eek2: What an amazing thing to happen!!!

I hope I get something like that next time I'm about to detour through Maca's!

Good on you for staying strong. :)

well mine was last night when I was feel too stressed and tired and achy..I compared before pictures from 3.5 months ago and pictures yesterday with a 26 pound weight loss and I was like WOW. I mean I dont feel like when I see myself that its that much of a difference but those pictures..its insane how much better and healthier I look and Im still just under half way to my goal.

I never realized how bad I looked before until my "before" pics were taken..seeing those is definitely what keeps me going.

The other day after having a meal I was tempted to eat seconds, but then I remembered how good I had felt recently in my bfs spa wearing my bikini and I was like no way, no food tastes better than that feeling.

My reminder was a couple days ago. I had slacked off in the past twoish months... gained about five lbs. I'm sure thanksgiving didn't help that. Anyway, a few days ago I was like, "Oh yeah, you can watch The Biggest Loser online!!" Then I was like... Wait. Biggest loser... Oh crap. Bad casey... So I'm re-starting my workout tonight, limiting my soda intake again, and getting back on track!

Yeah I had a reminder moment a month ago. I had this amazing dream, it seemed like everything was great and I was inside a really nice looking place.. like some sort of hotel or something. Anyways so I see the girl that I adore in life, I kind of have a crush on her but she is one of my best friends sooo yeah.. Then she saw me as she was talking to her friend, then she looked away in pretending I was nothing. It was really inspiring because that is the last thing that I want to see her do to me...

My reminder moment I see it everyday, my high school graduation picture, where my belly was hanging below my belt, and my double chin was big as a bridge.

I'm working towards my goal everyday, keeping strong everyday :D
