What do you think of this workout.

I want to gain overall mass and i haven't had much luck doing random exercises all over the gym funnily enough, so i thought a better start following a set program and track my progress etc. As a start can people give their opinions about this workout and if they think it'll be effective.

# Standing Calf Raises 1 X 8 - 12 reps
# Abs - 1 X 10 - 15 reps

I think you've covered most bases but why just the one set of each movement? I think you'd do best with adding more volume there; either add more sets and do 3x10 or lower reps and high sets like 5x5, 6x3 etc...

I'd also add more leg work, take out the leg machines and add in things like deads, lunges, step ups

The most important thing for adding mass is a calorie surplus. Are you tracking calories?

yeah i dont understand 1 set.

are you lifting really heavy??

are you seeing any progress??
it just sounds really odd to me ive never heard of it before.
is this done 3x a week??
do you rest between exercises or is it like a sort of curcuit training??

I havn't tried this workout i'm just trying to figure something decent out.

I was thinking max outs on each set. Like shouldn't be able to do another set after it. I've just been ready around and by what i've gatherd less reps + max weight is the way to build bulk.

And yes 3x a week and 1 minute rests between each exercise.

Sorry if it's total crap lol thats why i posted, to get an idea.
