what do u guys use to measure body fat %

I recently bought and returned a set of calipers from GNC. I didn't feel like they were accurate. I like to be pretty on point with that stuff. I don't want to go around saying that Im 15% when really im 20% can anybody give me some info.
 
i have a set of accumeasure calipers that i use. i know i'm not hitting the numbers right on the money but a rough idea is fine for me. :)
 
i got use to the good ol tape measure and some calculations from when i was in the army, a ruff idea is nice, like the other guy said i dont mind a ruff idea, its better then no idea, and as long as that ruff idea keeps going down
 
I use a combination of the mirror, my wifes sewing tape measure and the scale - calipers. It might not be very scientific, but it works for me.

know whats another idea

when my bodyfat was so high a couple of months i found a pair of pants that i couldnt even suck in my stomach to button and i kept them on the side. every now and then i'd go try them on. now i can button them but they're still kinda tight.

helps you mentally which i'm finding is a big part of getting results :)

yeah I got you guys. I had the accumeasure too I guess you can't be right on then. so can anybody let me know if 19% bf is bad for a 155lb 22 year old just wondering

HI ,IWAS WONDERING ,CAN U TELL ME HOW TO MEASURE THE BODY FAT USING CALIPER'S,OR MEASURING TAPE.
 
depending on what brand you have, you pinch in a certain area and then input those numbers on a graph or chart to see where you stand. its not 100% accurate. i have read there is roughly a 2% margin of error.

another idea is to go off the MM numbers on the caliper itself. if you pinch now, write that number down. then next time pinch the same area and see if that number goes down. :)
 
Yeah, or start dating but only take her out once a week. She'll let you know if your loosing weight.
