Weights/Diet program (woops in bodybuildg too sorry)

Hey everyone,

i have attached a picture of me. I have those bloody love handles that i want to get rid of and i really want to tone up and get bulky.

I am 6ft 2 and weigh around 175 pounds.

I need help with what i should be doing, i have been lifting weights for 5weeks now and just eating healthier but i havent had any real program. i have dumbels and a barbel at home i have been using.

I read an article on abcbodybuilding that said for hardcore fat loss you cant eat fructose and i tried that today and i cant seem to not eat fruit. also in the food plans its very difficult to eat salads and chicken for like every meal cuz i go to school.

So considering my goals and that my maintenence calories is 3000 per day could someone please help me with a diet and weights program which i can follow.

Also, i was just wondering what effect alcohol has and if alcohol is consumed what is the best way to burn it off the next morn or what shuld i have less of the next day so it has the minimum effect on my plans?

Well friend, I basically have your same problem. If you were to cut me in half and just leave my top abs and upper body..id be a fit guy. Its those damn love handles. Im also a drinker so perhaps that is where our problems lie. Try incorporating running and diet into your routine to shed the fat. Side bends or twists to strengthen the obliques?
 
you just gotta burn fat, so more cardio like Chad said. working the obliques will not directly bring fat off them, but its always good with strong obliques ;)
 
I think the fructose you need to be avoiding is the High Fructose corn syrup that food companies put in every processed food. Its how they sweeten things without making itlook like they put too much sugar in it, plus I've heard its there most chemically addictive method of doing this. I think everyone would do well to go organic.
