weightloss

Hi, I have tried everything on the maket to lose weight but no results.

Hi Melissa,

im afraid you wont get anywhere with stuff on the market, the only way to lose weight in a safe healthy way is to do cardio or an exercize that will elevate your heart rate and make you sweat.

your meant to do cardio 5 - 6 times a week (start off easy and wor your way up)

i recommend starting jogging, if you havnt jogged before your lungs will hurt which is normal BUT after a week or so you lungs will get used to it and it will be like walking!

if thats too hard to start do bike riding or walk up hill for about 30 mins or so...your meant to do about 45mins to an hour of cardio a day

hope this helps you

I recomend NOT jogging right off the bat, it puts a lot of strain on the lower body and can lead to injury if too much is undertaken at one time. Start off walking...if you're indoors set the treadmill at an incline to elevate your heart rate. Use an eliptical, stationary bike or stairclimber as other options also.

what's your daily diet like? Diet pills do not work and can be dangerous to the body. Stay away from them. Do you eat healthy? Do you run a calorie deficit?

Didnt realise you had to do so much cardio I thought 30 minutes 4x a week was enough maybe I need to do 30 mins on bike then say 2000 meters on the rowing machine aswell.

It really depends on what your goals are. If you want to have great cardiovascular health then you need to do more than 30 min. If you want to lose fat and limit muscle loss then you want to do weight lifting and whatever amt of cardio required to create an additional calorie deficit.

Really just do what you can when you can, but as has been stated on the forums before 20 minutes is usually the bare minimum to get yourself going each day. truth of the matter is if you have 20 minutes to workout then use it. something is better then nothing and remember, if your goal is to burn calories, that calories burned are based on distance traveled not on how much time you spent. I could bike 10 miles in 30 minutes and burn the same amount of calories biking 10 miles in 60 minutes.

Go harder instead of more time.

You don't have to do more time. If you can do 2000meters on the bike in 30 min, then try to go faster and run 2200meters in 30 minutes. That will help you better than just adding 30 more minutes to your cardio session.

If your goal is to be able to run steady for 60 minutes then you increase the time but only if that is your goal. If your goal is weight loss, fat loss or health then you just work faster.

Adding time is the easiest but no best way to increase the efectiveness of your workout.

I guarantee that you haven't tried everything to lose weight.

Try eating healthy stuff, like fruits and veggies. Try doing some exercise at a level of intensity that is not comfortable for you. In other words

Work Hard and Start Today because the only thing stopping you is You
Don't have equipment then do bodyweight but start doing something

Hi, I have tried everything on the maket to lose weight but no results.

Let us hope, this isn't a one post wonder, and the persons whom have taken time to post, get a response from the OP.

I am not going to get into what you should do. Why? Because I simply do not know enough about you, to give you advice. How do you expect personal specific advice, with what you have left us? Your personal effort in providing information for some of the knowledge persons on this forum was in the form of one uninformative sentence.

All I have is simply questions, because, honestly, there is a lot to be desired in order to really help you.

1. What are your personal fitness goals? What is it you want to really personally achieve?

2. Dependent on the answer to number 1, depends on how you construct your calories and macro nutrients.

3. What do you have to train with? Any health problems?

4. Dependent on the answer to number 1, number 2, number 3, will depend on how you construct your personal particulars that are involved within 2, and 3.

If you want assistance, then provide more information about yourself, your fitness goals, and if you like, what you have done thus far, that you say have produced insignificant personal results.

Best wishes as always,

Chillen
