Weight Ratios?

Does anyone know what would be the perfect ratio of different muscle in relation to what you can bench?

For example, if you can bench X, then what percentage of X should your biceps/triceps/lats/delts be able to lift?

I'm starting out and I dont wanna find part of my body comparatively under developed after 6 months!

Cheers :)

I don't think there is a conversion like that.. Although what you should be worried about is the comparison between your squat, deadlift, and bench.

Probably like a 1 to 1.5-2. Bench to Squat/Dead. It depepnds on where you are, if you bench 100lbs you could probably squat 200 (maybe a little less). But if you bench 200, that doesn't really mean that you'll squat 400.

In the end, just workout every muscle equally and progress as much as you can.

Swans posted some guidelines fi you want ot use them, but keep in mind, they are 'universally agreed upon guidelines'.

in the end, all that matters is that you're working out with intensity, making some gains, and you like what you see in the mirror.

If you are going to compete in bodybuilding or powerlifting, then things change a little, but you or your coach will do the research necessary.

well then they're at least reasonable guidelines...but still just a bunch of number crunching and averages to arrive at good estimates.
