weight loss

im 14 i weigh 85kg and im between 180-190 cm tall the docter says i need to lose weight. what is a good way to lose it and how much should i lose?

Hey deano,

Well two things need to be managed properly

1)diet
2)exercise

If you would like some helpfull details by some of the members it would be a good start to tell us your current diet/phsyical activity levels.
 
Do you know what your body fat percentage is? If not then could you post a picture of yourself?

The reason I ask is because a lot of doctors work out your BMI and then say if your weight is OK or not. IMO this is the biggest heap of crap ever because it doesn't take into account body composition. Most of the guys on here will be 'overweight' according to a doctors graph, the most muscular will almost certainly be classed as Obese!

85kg for someone your height really doesn't seem that heavy at all, check your bf% and then see if your need to cut fat
 
hey my diet was not good till bout 2 weeks ago and i am eating alot of fruit instead of junk food now

my exercise is i play european handball which will be changed to rugby soon about 4 hours a weeksoon that will change to rugby

i go kayaking at high intensity for 1.5 hours every week and i also ride my mountian bike alot

then 1.5 hours of P.e a week
