Hey!

My names Montana, I'm 21 from from Vancouver BC... and of course wanting to lose some weight!! 25 LBS to be exact. I'm 5'7 155 LBS and my goal weight is 130 (125 would be fab but lets not get ahead of myself!)
I am also a vegetarian. Any helpful advice as how to reach my goal, any personal experiences etc. Is Very Welcome! As of right now I plan on doing 3 days a week at the gym (40 min cardio and some weight training) and then doing yoga and swimming laps the other three days and taking a full rest day off a week.

you should take some pictures of before, and take some measurements! its a great way to keep you motivated!! When you see results your 100 times more likely to keep going.
 
Matt's right. Plus your before and after pictures will be super motivating for other members, too!

Hi to all....can neone gimme some tips to loose wight,i work from 8 in the mornin to 6 in evening...my job involves too much of sittin in frnt of the laptop....n i realise m getting fat from my waist :angelsad2:

How long is your lunch break? If you have some time, you could go for a walk or something on your lunch break, that should help over time. Also just getting up over the course of the day and stretching, walking to the bathroom, or the water fountain, walking around the office, should help some as well.
 
Another Canadian gal here, from Calgary. I am sitting at about 204 pounds and need to get down to about 155 and healthy so I can play and explore with my new twin grandbabies. If that ain't motivation, I don't know what is! :)
