Hey, I'm 14 years old and a boy who's about 130 pounds and 5'4.5". I have a bit of a gut and also chubby legs. I've been going on the exercise bike every day for two weeks for about 30 mins to an hour. I haven't really noticed any results yet, but I've also been cautiously watching my weight. Every weekday, I only drink water and milk. I have a sandwich (turkey, roast beef, or pastrami) only eat about half of it, and sometimes a little bit of a CLIF bar. I have cereal for breakfast and for dinner usually just have something small like a piece of chicken or something like that (nothing big). I read that in order to lose weight, you need to lose more carolies than you take in. If I eat about 600-1,000 calories a day, does this mean that I need to burn about 1,200 calories a day. I'm just a bit new to this and also wonder if any one has had success on an exercise bike.
