Weight Gain Plan & Supplement Advice?

Hi everyone,

I just joined this site a few minutes ago with the hopes of getting some advice on how to achieve my goals of gaining weight and muscle. I am a 22-year old recent college graduate with a 9-5 job who is starting to go the gym regularly. I have always had disposition to remaining skinny and I think now is the time to finally start a regime to gain weight and finally build muscle. I am 5'10" and weigh 140 lbs. I find that I don't have a very normal appetite and consume one large meal a day with some snacks here and there but I would really like to train my stomach to get used to eating more and eating more often and regularly. So, basically my goal is two-fold...I would like to gain weight first and get my body used to eating more AND then I would like to turn that weight into muscle.

At this point, I am doing a good job of going to the gym a few times a week and want to accentuate that with a weight gainer. But before I spend money on any of these products, I would love some advice because the market is full of them and I don't know which is best for me. Any advice you have regarding these products considering my weight and goals would be much appreciated. I just don't want to be ripped off and/or buy the wrong product.

Thanks in advance for your responses and I look forward to our discussions!

Save your money on weight gainers and try the GOMAD diet (gallon of milk a day) along with your regular intake of food. It's cheap and it works. Make sure that you're lifting regularly - maybe try one of the starting strength programmes.

Whatever you do don't spend money on the multi-million dollar money making schemes, witch is almost all the gain muscle programs out there. I'm a Martial arts expert and fitness instructor. Heres the thing eating habits are a big part of it . You have to train your mind and change the way your actions are with eating. You schedule will be a part of your eating habits and vice versa. You really don't need more than 24 minutes a day to gain muscle, and get the body you desire.

I love the seamless way a link to a money making scheme is included.

I'm a bit annoyed with all the people who join here just to advertise their crap.

Anyway ram97 diet is so important. I'm not a big eater either but pretty much everyone who has gained serious muscle recommends eating 6 meals a day. If you struggle with having an appetite I think adding a protein shake in the morning and after workout would be a good start...you must be running on adrenaline or something- not good for building muscle! I'm trying to improve my food intake as well, its a struggle for some people.

Although i like the Musashi lean muscle protein drinks you could probably go for one with carbs in it as well - take a look at this one:

no - i don't work for musashi and can you get it in NY...I'm sure there are plenty of good alternatives.
