Well. I'm reluctant to put my picture and my measurements on here because I'm a wimp. But I'm going to do it anyway, and I hope that in turn it will give me inspiration, and will-power to not return to my current state. I'm a tube... LOL

My measurements are as follows:
Neck 17"
Chest 42"
R-Arm 14.5" - 15.25" flexed
L-Arm 14" - 14.75" flexed
Forearm 12.25" flexed (Same for both)
Waist 47"
Hips 46"
Thighs 26.25"

Current weight is 240 lbs.
 
Hey! Joining up and putting some pictures out there can definately be motivation. It can also be rewarding when in 2-4weeks you take more and see the difference as a result of your hard work. I'm kinda new here too but everyone is really helpful, If you write down your eating or exercise they can help guide, support, and encourage you.

I look forward to seeing your progress!

Hey man welcome to the forum!! I got some pretty gross shots of me too that I would never show anyone except those on this site. We're all in this together so don't you worry about how you look now.

If you stick to a good plan with diet and exercise you will definately shape out to be a hot looking stud :) :drool5:

Good thing the weekend ends!
Wasn't bad overall. Ate chicken and pasta, and ice cream! I know I know... I'm only cheating myself, and it's been an already slow start. So this week I'll have to really watch what I eat. Stick to healthy foods, and ignore the freezer (it contains the bad stuff).

So yeah... Gym within the next week or so. I'm a photographer part-time, and have a couple jobs coming up this week and weekend, so the extra money will be there! YAY!

Now I have to find time to fix my car so I can DRIVE to the gym. Won't that be nice?! LOL

I'm off for now, but I'll be back!
 
I think yesterday was pretty good. I didn't track all my calories. I feel that if I FEEL hungry, then I'm not eating as many calories as I was before. Because before, if I felt hungry, I'd eat. Now I don't, and when I do, I try to make better choices.

I had pesto pasta for dinner, and only 1 tbsp of ice cream after, as opposed to 2 scoops. LOL

Then I busied myself with baseball (on wii, which still made me sweat! LOL) and then the storm started, so I made myself busy taking pictures of the lightning.

Today I'm avoiding the donuts that someone thoughtlessly brought in to the office.
It's tough not to eat them!

On an up note, I found out last night that one of my photographs was published in a magazine! :) YAY!
If you're interested, it's AMOI, page 74. The photo was taken last year (around sept.) and just published now. ps I'm a better photographer now.. LOL

I was opening my back door to see better but I was scared shitless that I was going to get struck by lightening haha.

I tried to find your pic on the net but I couldn't. I definately want to see some of your shots from last night though :)
 
I totally feel you when you say the freezer has all the bad stuff in it. Mine currently has ice cream in it also, and it takes quite a lot of effort on my part to not think about it. :p

I only had a little bit today, but since I hadn't eaten any since last week, it's a little bit of a treat. And it shut up the little voice that was yammering "want ice cream now!"

I also suggest checking out the recipes here, they are great. :D
