Veins in arms

I have been lifting intensely for about 5 days a week for the past six months. I am happy with how I look as far as toning, but the only thing is that my veins pop out too visibly in my arms, what can I do to make the veins not so visible and popping out? I have decided to cut way back on the lifting because I don't want my arms to be looking too masculine, what can I do to make them still be toned but more feminine-looking? Thanks, I would really appreciate anyone's advice.

Do the veins pop out all of the time or only durring and immediatly following lifting? I think it is probalby either because of an increase in muscle mass in your arms or a decrease in body fat or a combination of both. I am a male and mine pop out only during lifting or immediatly afterwords or if I get hot from working, tennis, etc.

they are visible all the time but pop out especially during and right after lifting. i am 5'0, about 108 lbs., 21 years old, and 9.7% body fat, is that why the veins are so visible, because I have so little body fat? My main question is how I can get the veins in kmy arms to be less visible. Thanks

Correct, along with genetics as well.

TL, isn't the average bf for females something like 15-20%. At 9.5%, she could increase without looking like a fatty.

I didn't mean to imply she would look fat. We had other posts on this board where I basically said that body fat % is VERY VERY low for a woman. My opinion is that she NEEDS to gain some extra fat. Period. She is under the level of "essential body fat for women".

Never ever meant to imply she would look fat or anything like that.

I know you didn't. Sometimes I don't have time to really reread and rephrase. Life has gotten real hectic lately.

I was thinking the OP might be afraid of looking like a fatty. Women carry it better, so 15-20% bf on a women is better than 15-20% on a man.

the fat women carry in their breasts and buttocks is what skews their healthy bodyfat percentage up a bit. the fat is meant to protect a baby during pregnancy too.
