I kept thinking that maybe switching off between upper and lower body is too much, you know, like it gets your body more tired so you can't do as many reps of one exercise one day. I heard push/pull is very efficient. Is it more efficient than doing a upper/lower split?
i prefer push/pull/lower only because you can rotate it continually w/o taking a day off, or maybe just 1 day off. its mostly preference, i personally know that if done with commitment, both work extremely well
Push/Pull is a great way split your workout; as long as your giving yourself time off in between. I say this because even when you're pulling, you'll recruit some secondary movers that will be touched on during the days when you're pushing. When you're doing upper/lower there is less of a chance of recruiting the same muscles on back to back days but you still may run into problems.
I think the point of the incessant rambling up top was to give yourself adequate rest time. IE: Mon Upper; Tues Lower; Wed Off; Repeat. or Mon Push/Pull; Tues Rest; Wed Push/Pull etc etc.
