Upper body and lower body training

Between last January and July I worked my ass off. The results ending up being roughly 10 lbs of LBM. By far the biggest gains I saw were in my legs. Not a problem. However, this has left me with quite the rear end. I want to keep training, but I dont want my legs to get any bigger. I have trouble fitting them in some of my pants and its just annoying.
My question is, does anyone have any ideas as to how i can add mass to my upper body, while keeping constant if not decreasing my lower body mass? Right now Im simply thinking of picking a routine and just not working my lower body too hard, lifting weights i know I can lift, but are still challenging, so that the muscles get worked but don't have to adapt. This could be a fully body workout or a split of some sort, not exactly sure what to do.

P.S. I think I overworked myself this summer (I was doing a waterbury program that had me doing fbw 5 times a week) and since august I have not been lifting with regularity. Not that I was "overtrained" but I kind of lost interest in training. This is also due to the fact that I got pretty close to the goals I had set for myself. this is also why I have not been active on the forums... if anyone mised me :love1:
 
If you don't want bigger legs don't train legs as much and as hard. If you are challenging your muscles you are encouraging them to grow, no matter what.
 
you mean you dont want big legs or you just dont want the big ass?? I have big legs and im proud of them, granted they do look kinda weird in jeans lol
Try doing lunges to help out with the butt problem, i didnt really gain any size when i started doing them but it rather firmed up if that makes any sense.

But you other prob is like they both said, train you upper body hard and you lower at the same level now or a bit less.
