upper abs

I have an interesting problem. I can see my lower abs just in the right light, even the ones under my belly button. My problem is my upper abs are almost non existent. Im currently doing HIIT cardio 3 times per week. My weight is 145 and my height is 5'10'' and I'm 15 years old. Here is my ab routine.

Hanging leg lifts 3 sets of 20
reverse crunches 3 sets of 20
decline crunches 3 sets of 20
weighted crunches(25lbs) 3 sets of 20(20 is my goal i don't always reach it)
swiss ball crunches 3 sets of 20
thats it, i do that 3 times a week, every other day on the same day as my weight training

I don't have much of a diet, I'm good when it comes to junk food. Most the time if I feel like snacking I'll grab a handful of almonds or eat an apple. Eating six small meals a day is out of the question for me because I'll be starting school soon. I just need to know if my upper abs will develop, because I heard there is more fat lower down, so if I have abs there then upper abs should be easy right? Thanks for your help.

I'd say just keep at what you are doing you seem to be doing a lot. I wish I had your dedicate for my ab area.

and they may never really show. abs are a genetic think. you might have to hit an unhealthily low body fat before they really become visible.

if you can see them period, it means your body fat is low, and you should be damned proud of that accomplishment!

Thanks for the replies. I'm probably going to get my bf% tested soon, im really curious to know what it is. I took one of the online tests and got 6%, but i doubt its accurate. I've only really been at this for maybe 2 months, but I think I'm making progress. I want them to show, but my real goal is to make them pop out, then I'll know that they are really strong. I'm going out for football this year and when I get tackled around my stomach I'm looking to make the other person feel like they tackled a wall lol. I'll get there, I'll post a picture once i've got one. Peace

I heard lower abs are a real pain to get them to show, I guess not for me. My advice would be to watch what you eat during the course of the day, I think thats where people get most the fat from. Not from breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I'll admit that if I see a bag of chips I'm tempted to go eat some, but I'll just eat something healthier and I won't be hungry anymore. I gain weight fast so I really have to watch myself. While I was away at florida for 6 days I didn't do cardio or weight lifting and I gained almost 4lbs of fat. I bet if you worked the lower abs really hard you would be able to make them pop out. Just keep trying, they will show.

I had asked this question in another thread along with a few others but this one was never addressed. As my abs have been bulking, i've noticed that the upper left one has become larger than on the right side. Does this mean that I had been favouring my left side? If so, how's the best way to go about correcting this?
