Uneven Abs

I've been noticing that my upper portion of my rectus abdominus under my right pec seems to be developing faster than the left side. It's not terribly noticeable now but I would like to prevent it from getting any worse. I've been working on making sure im using both sides equally but it doesn't seem to be evening out at all. Can anyone explain this to me?

Look at it this way, the majority of the world will never even get to see if their abs are symmetrical or not.

lol quite true.

But if you notice that many bodybuilders abs are kinda offshaped. Iv've noticed taht they had like 3 on one side and like 2 on the other. It's a bit weird but once you actually get your obliques and crap showing it won't be that noticeable.
 
Yeah I guess that is true. I've been really trying to hit my transverse too. Does anyone know any good lifts for that? I've been doing woodchops with the lat pulldown and that seems to work alright.
