Trying to put on muscle and gain weight.

Okay, I'm a 14 year old male, I'm pretty damn skinny, I weigh 6.11 stone, I would really like to put on muscle and weight, I'd like some tips on how to do this, maybe I should put on a bit of fat and weight first before I start doing weights etc?
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I wasn't too sure where to put it.

Please and thank you ;)

Will do, I've been trying to eat as much as possible, but usually, no matter how much i eat, I don't put on much weight.
Sucks to be me :p

*gets apple*

Could you recommend any work out routines? the only equipment I have are some 1, 3, and 5 kg weights (not huge, I know, but I've got too start from sumwhere) and an excercise bike. Also one of those reasonably useless toners that you go back and forth along the ground with.

your not going to get big lifting light weights. you need to lift big to get big. either join a gym or go out and buy a bench a barbell and some dumbells. stay away from cardio. cardio helps you lose weight. you cant lose weight and gain weight at the same time. once you have the weights come back and some one will give u a routine to start off with. if you dont have the money then theres ways to build you own weights. i use to take a broom stick and tie two sandbags on each side and use that as a barbell.

although it is true..that you will not get big lifting light weights..you do have to start from somewhere...so before you go out and buy barbells and weight benches....try this website http://www.exrx.net/Lists/WtMale.html and click on the bodyparts you want to workout..and it will come up with a whole bunch of dumbell exercises you can use, once you have progressed through the dumbells, and they become too easy to lift..then you need to think about getting barbells and the like.

Okay, thanks, what kind of size weight do you reccomend I get then?
Thanks for all your help so far, I 'preciate it.
