Trying again!!!

Well I am trying again. I want to lose 90lbs. By tomorrow would be nice, but I think that might be slightly ambitious...

Going to be doing weights 3 times a week (with small bursts of cardio after) and cardio on 3 days a week with one rest day (probably a Friday).

I am going to stop rewarding myself every week for being good with clean living. My rewards are usually pizza and booze, and thats just making it too easy to cheat at other times. Instead, I will have a night off every 2 weeks, and instead of ordering in, I will make my own pizza's, and if I drink it will be spirit with a diet mixer.

Ordered first ever kettlebell and a training dvd, so I am really looking forward to aching in places I never knew existed :D

I have three outfits. One that fits me now, one that will hopefully fir in about 2 months, and another that will fit me by the end of my weight loss. Thats the goal - fit into those clothes!

Towards the end I want to pack on a bit more muscle, so the scales won't be so accurate. I'm going to buy one of those ones that measures your body fat and use that instead :D

Hahaha...tomorrow 90 lbs lighter! lol Good luck! I'm sure burning 315000 calories in 24 hours is doable! lol.

Seriously, good luck bud. Slow and steady. Make it a lifestyle change, not a diet with a time limit. Like I tell my kids on a road trip....we'll get there when we get there....and we willll get there!

I wouldnt worry bout the fancy scale....I got one for my wife and I've only used the water content and fat feature a couple of times. It told me I had lotsa water and was really fat. Unless you get a really expensive one, ours is $100 US and it wasnt worth the extra cash. I should have bought a good scale without those features and some healthy groceries. Oh well....thats my thoughts on that.

I'll be checkin in on ya....and am lookin forward to hearing bout your healthy changes more than your weight loss.

Time to start eating, breathing, sleeping, and thinking healthy :) Good luck!

Lol weightloss is my speciality, I just can't seem to do it :D Have lost 4 stone in the past, wanna do that again twice over lol! I helped loads of people in my weight loss clinics (when I was thinner) I just can't seem to help myself. Until now :)

The scale has helped me in the past. Weightloss isn't as important as fat loss, and I find the reducing fat percentage and increasing muscle percentage is an excellent motivator.

Just walked 35 mins briskly to my nanna's and back. She's on hol and asked me to check the house, make sure everything is ok....and she gave me the wrong key so I can't get in lol. Oh well, the walk was all good. And stopped off at the shop for more fat free natural yogurt :)

Will be doing weights soon. I'm looking forward to my kettlebell arriving, I think it'll be a really fun way to work out. And a really painful one lol!

Anyway, going to weigh myself tomorrow. I expect to have lost at least seventy billion stone. I'll be disappointed with anything less :D

Just checking in with me :D

Been a good day thus far. Had a low fat, medium carb, high protein diet thus far. Have done a 35 minute brisk walk, half an hour of weights followed by 20 minutes of cardio. Heading to eat a high protein, medium carb snack now :)

That totally reminds me of like Psychologists who help many lives, but cannot help their own. (There is a play about that) Gave me a good laugh :) But, you know you can do it. All of us here will MAKE you make yourself do it! Once you make an account here and a goal you're pretty much on our radar!

Welcome to the forum, we're a bunch of losers! :p

Another good day :) Have eaten well. I really wanted pizza, and came close to crumbling and ordering in. Instead... I made me own :) 372cals for the base, some tomato puree and some mozzarella, and I reckon tea was about 650 calories, which is on target for me :)

Did exercise bike for 45 mins, HIIT as well, not just standard pace :) I sit, put my laptop on the ironing board in front of me and watch The Biggest Loser USA lol if they can drop weight I can too!

My biggest challenge is night munchies. I feel hungry all the time at night. I only allow myself healthy snacks, but I think I have too much anyway, so my mini target tonight is to have just the one, all protein and veg with no carbs. Half a tin of tuna and a handful of salad I think. No grazing!

Well done on making your own pizza when it would have been so much easier and quicker to order one in. :)

Aesir, welcome.
Once you start seeing and feeling results you will feel a lot more sure of yourself.
And maybe you should find something else to reward yourself with other than food? Or have you stopped that already?
I like to take long baths with a book to read.

And if you feel hungry try eating raw carrots. They really fill you up, and they are like only 20 something calories for one whole med carrot. I'm not saying eat the whole bag but one should take the edge off that hunger. Oh and cucumbers are great to eat raw too. I think they are only like 10 or something. It's really a small number. I just salt and pepper mine Yummy! T.T now I want one.

Hi. I don't reward myself with food. That would kinda defeat the object! I am building muscle too so need more protein. My snacks tend to be based round veg with protein, so a carrot or cucumber wouldn't suffice. Adding in half a tin of tuna, or an egg or yogurt etc is what I do.

I don't really eat much salt, but I have found myself eating salads and other veg with a lot more pepper on them, just to provide more flavour.

Yay, I found your diary! I'll be keeping tabs on you. I'm curious, how many cals are you eating a day? By the way, what's a kettlebell? :)
