Trousers too short

For the last few weeks, I have noticed that all my formal trousers look bit short. I am pretty sure that at 29, I have not gained any height. (would love to).

My theory is that my developed glutes are causing the trousers to look short. Does that look like a possible reason? Any thoughts?

Absolutely right, LiveFromNY.

On formal trousers (two pairs), I have noticed it because (a) I wear them Mon-Thurs and (b), my casual trousers are usually bit too long (I m only 5' 8'') so it is harder to notice the difference on casual trousers.

But I get your idea that you do not think glutes are the reason.
Maybe, it is just my illusion.

Thanks.

maybe its your shoes!! lol seriously maybe your in a funk and they look odd bc you don't like the way they look anymore. it could be... :D

lol yep but I try to keep my pants longer then I can wear heels with them, not that you would wear heels but you know.. lol. always get your pants hemmed so they hit the right spot on your shoe so when you sit they don't climb halfway up your legs..

I did not mean to give an impression that I needed lessons in fitting room.

The trousers on my business suits are perfect length. (glutes are not going make them look 2 inch shorter, anyway.)
They appear quarter of an inch shorter than before. But still, they do not look like that I had borrowed them from Michael Jackson.

On casual trousers, really, I am not fussy if some of them are half an inch longer than the perfect length.

I wish i could help you, I only wear skirts. My exercise clothes are not fitted, and don't forget, a lady's behind probably does not get as muscular as a man's.
