Ok, lately I've just been doing the tricep press down machine, and I really don't feel anything in my triceps. I was wondering what you guys thought about how well the tricep press down machine works, and what other good tricep exercises are. Thanks
Ovearhead extensions maybe... for people who do have to go heavy to get something out of the movement. Dips... if done properly with a good ROM can only give you the best results.
Neither of those works the triceps at all. Pulling motions are for back and biceps (& lateral/rear delts to a degree)...pushing motions are for chest and triceps (and front delts)
the only machine for triceps that's worth a crap would be the overhead pully, for triceps press downs...but I would do this as more of an isolation/build up the pump move...not the meat & potatoes exercise.
No, for serious mass building, you want heavy, close grip bench presses, skullcrushers (a.k.a. French Press) and dumbbell extensions behind the head.
Thanks for setting that straight, malkore. Oops, I was talking about the tricep press downs, when I said pull downs. Heh, I can never get all these names straight.
