I am a 39, almost 40, year old female who had a total hip replacement a year ago. I was able to run, cheer, jump, etc until I was a teenager, but by that time my hip began to get worse. I had the surgury last year and I feel like a NEW person!! So.... I want to run!! BUT I am so out of shape that it's not even funny lol I have been doing pilates for abs, upper body, and lower body for the past couple of weeks and am adding walking a mile starting tomm... I appreciate and welcome any other ideas on "training" or strengthening exercises to do to help get in shape for a run
