Tony's weight loss diary

Okay, so... noob here. My apologies for such a long post. I've been sort of dieting on and off for a good 10-11 months now. I'm 21 years old, 6'5" and I was 300 pounds when I first started everything. A friend of mine at work introduced me to grapefruit and from that moment I was hooked. I started bringing my lunches to work, and I was losing 3-5 pounds a week with no added exercise. Before I knew it, I was down to 270 and people started commenting on how much better I looked. I continued and it started to become harder to lose weight. I slowly broke 260, and it took forever to break 250. I'm currently at about 245 pounds and I've hit a brick wall. I want to exercise, but I'm often exhausted when I get home from work because I'm on my feet all day. I also have asthma, and I don't have much money so I tend to cheap out on groceries. I'd like to get down to 220 pounds but I know it's going to take some work. I'm hoping that maybe some people on here can give me a little push on the back to help me reach my goal and give me some advice and motivation since I obviously need it.

Hey dude...congrats and welcome...okay heres some advise...the hardest thing about exercise is tying your shoes....Dont overdo it and I guarantee you will have more energy when you finnish than when you started...Exercise is what you need to push past your current lull....good luck and welcome again

Thanks! I'll definitely keep that in mind. When I do exercise, I tend to overwork myself. I'll try taking it just a little easier and doing it in the mornings instead.
