It's called Breathe Hot Yoga.
Surprisingly good weigh in today, though I wonder if I'm a bit dehydrated as I didn't drink too much water yesterday especially with doing the hot yoga and sweating everything out.

Starting weight: 183.5
Current Weight: 165.8 (-3.4)
First Mini Goal Weight: 160 by March 27
Second Mini Goal Weight: 144 by July 3
Final Goal Weigh: 125

Busy day today. First off, woke up and my upper back muscles were SORE! I was so surprised as I didn't think that yoga had worked them too much. I slowly noticed more and more things getting sore as the day went on. Pretty much my whole body is stiff! I really thought that I would only really feel my legs as that's what seemed to be getting worked at yoga, but it really was a full body workout!
Work wasn't supposed to be too busy, but my groomer was falling behind a bit so I had to take over one of her dogs and bathed another of her dogs for her. Finished up around 3: 30 and went to the barn.
I decided I wanted to jump a full course today (rather than just a couple jumps) but that entailed dragging out tons of equipment.

There were 3 jumps out in the arena already (the small jump standards) but I dragged out another set of small jump standards, plus 2 sets of the big white standards (BTW standards are the things on the side of the jump that hold the pole), and the set of 6 foot blue white and red standards. Plus the poles needed for them. Then had to put every single thing away again (including the jumps that were already out before I got there). All the poles and standards are made of solid wood and I had to lift them all up onto the stub wall, walk around the wall and yank them off the stub wall to get them put away in their proper place. Probably at least 40 mins of work for a 40 min ride.
By the time I had the jumps put away, my horse fed and turned back out, and was leaving the barn it was 6:30. Because of that, plus my stiffness from yoga, and knowing that I'm going to be getting in at least 5 if not 6 days of exercise this week, I decided to not exercise today. Starting to feel more and more sore as the day goes on. Could really feel my abs getting sore at the barn.

Lunch: Lasagna
Supper: Bagel with PB, Salsa Chicken (really been digging both of those lately)
Snacks: Half package jello (made), 5 cookies, white cheddar popcorn. Ended up with a lot of calories for snacks today as I usually have a snack after riding (usually before my workouts). A bit too snacky today, but oh well. Kinda nice on a Friday night.

Going snowshoeing tomorrow. Never been before. It's supposed to feel like -15 tomorrow morning (and snowing) and feel like -12 in the afternoon. Gonna have to dress warm. No sure I have an ear warmer though I do have a nice jacket with a hood. Don't have snowpants, but not planning to fall in the snow so hopefully won't be too bad. We are gonna stop off at Tim Hortons in the morning so I think I will pick up a regular sandwich for lunch, then maybe bring some turkey pepperoni sticks to snack on later in the morning. Might be going to my mom's for pancakes for supper. Gonna try to not big out like I tend to do around pancakes (with my pancake binge from a couple weeks back still fresh in my mind), especially since sunday will probably be a high cal supper as well.

:D Still can´t wrap my head arund the fact that you don´t call 40 minutes of lugging heavy beams around "exercise". Interesting to hear how the snowshoe-thing went, never tried anything like that!

:iagree: with LaMa- sounds like hard work to me! Hope you stayed upright with the snowshoeing!

Thanks guys. Snowshoeing was good. Fell once (hard to back up in snowshoes, haha), but I just plopped into the snow on my butt. Some SUPER steep parts, long upward climbs at the start. My heart was RACING! Oh my goodness haha. We were out there for about 2 and a half hours, online calculators suggested a 1375 calorie burn.
A couple quick pics

I was 166.4 this morning. Which wasn't a huge surprise since I assumed my big drop yesterday was from dehydration after hot yoga.

Had 2 turkey pepperoni sticks before we headed out snowshoeing, had a tim hortons sandwich while out there for lunch.

Came home and had a snack of half package of jello (made). Been quite crave-y today so having a hard time. Held out till supper time. Was planning to have a bagel with PB at 6ish, then have Salsa Chicken at 7 to split things up so I wouldn't have to try to not eat till my snacks at 8. But after the first bagel I was just craving another, so I had another.
For snack I had 3 cookies and white cheddar popcorn.

I'm hoping to hold off on any other cravings for today. If so I finish my cals at 2029, which isn't bad for a weekend day. Leaves me with 2417 or so for tomorrow which is good cause I know that my supper tomorrow will be high cal. Family dinner, sweet and sour sauce on farmer sausage, potatoes, with corn. Probably some kind of desert, so want to keep my cals semi low earlier in the day. Plan to ride and do some sort of workout (not sure what kind, will depend a bit on how my body is feeling. Still sore from yoga, carrying the jumps, and not sure what snowshoeing will bring)

Epic landscape, I can just see armies of trolls and orcs gather there. Snowshoeing sounds like exhausting fun, no wonder you were craving stuff afterwards when you burned that many calories!

Thanks Guys. It was very pretty out. There had actually been a snow fall warning that morning and it was snowing part of the way on the drive up. Took nearly half the walk for the skies to clear up and the sun to come out. It was mostly decent temperature wise as long as you were dressed ok, but a few parts (mostly in the valley area) were bitterly cold due to the wind. My jacket is awesome though as it has built in face warmer and gloves (which is really nice since you don't get the bit of skin showing between the sleeve and glove that freezes).
Mostly popped in to say that I was good the rest of the evening. I actually felt a tich tummy turn-y as I was finishing off my snacks earlier so overall didn't have too much desire for more food, though had a few craving thoughts intermingled throughout.

166.4 again this morning. Slightly disappointed that my big loss on Friday was water weight, especially since this means that without at least a 1.4 pound loss this week I won't make my goal for the end of February, but I did know if was likely water weight so can't be too surprised.
I am surprised that my legs don't seem to be hardly stiff at all. I guess in some ways maybe I was hoping they would be really really stiff and I could give myself a free pass to not exercising today (bad thought, I know). So my plan is to get up and go to the barn soon (at least get out of bed by 11), ride, then come home and exercise. Not sure yet what I will do. I should probably do my circuit training as I haven't done that as much as I should have this week, though my upper body muscles are still sore.
After working out and showering I will be heading to my mom's place for some family time.

Looks very beautiful and also very cold. I have become an epic wimp when it comes to cold. I'd never make it through another Chicago winter.

Thanks. It's actually been quite a lovely winter here. Only a few -30*C days and not crazy amounts of snow (and enough warm days to melt most of it away before the next snowfall) which has been nice.

Today didn't go to plan. I ended up feeling SUPER lazy this morning. I think I kinda thought I'd be sore from snowshoeing so would kinda have an 'out' for not doing any exercise today and that's why I had allowed myself to think about not doing it. Planned to get out of bed at 11 but didn't get out of bed til at least 11:45 or maybe even closer to 12. Then, instead of going out and riding or working out, I just sat on my couch till after 2. I had grilled cheese, 3 cookies, and a serving of white cheddar popcorn. I debated off and on about going to a hot yoga class, but also wanted to spend some time with my nieces who were staying at my mom's house before supper. I decided what I would do is pack my yoga stuff with me and go to my mom's house. There is a sister yoga studio to the one I joined at in the same community as my mom, so if I felt like going to the 4 o'clock class I could just change and zip over there, do the class and zip back to my mom's in time to shower and be ready for supper.
By the time I got over to my mom's house it was close to 3, I had myself pretty much convinced that I would not go to yoga. I HAD done a workout or some exercise 5 times this week so it's not like a really cheated myself, but still, I had had a plan and wasn't sticking with it.
I then started to figure out the calories in the desert my mom was making (cheese cake) and it was higher cal than I had planned (though I was just a few cals over my weekly goal). But it suddenly motivated me to go to the yoga class. I guess I though if I was gonna overeat a hair that I would at least work a bit of it off. If was just after 3:40 and the class started at 4 so I rushed to get my workout clothes on, and realized I forgot my yoga matt. I asked my mom to borrow hers, but she had to go looking for it cause she hadn't used it yet in her current house so she didn't know where it was. Thankfully it didn't take her long to find it. But I didn't actually know where it was so after driving through the 'obvious' spots I quickly asked siri to find it for me and made it in time for class. I don't think I like it quite as much as the last time as there were a few more 'balancing' poses (and I have horrible balance) and felt like a bit less 'strength' poses, but it was still good I think. Will see how my muscles feel tomorrow.
I can see myself showing a big 'loss' tomorrow but again due to water weight. I hardly drank any water today.
Supper I definitely ate smaller portions than normal and no seconds like I normally would of since I knew my cals were gonna be tight. I ended up being able to slightly reduce my supper cals to fit in some iced tea (couldn't resist since I usually only ever drink water). I then took a smaller piece of cheese cake than I had planned, plus a lot of the graham crumb crust stayed in the pan so could slightly reduce that cal count too.
I ended up about 150 cals under my weekly goal so fairly happy with that.
My horse REALLY needed a ride today so I do feel very guilt with that. Will for sure need to do 5 GOOD rides next week. No slacking as I entered that expensive horse show and it's but a month away! DOn't want to pay all that money and have a bad show.

Sounds like you did a nice job of adjusting to changing circumstances today, which is actually really important. As much as we'd like things to be otherwise, we can't control the world around us all the time, so sometimes we just have to do the best that we can when our plans get thrown off course. Sometimes I manage to stay on the beam, sometimes it all goes wrong. But then tomorrow is always another day.

Anyhow, good luck on the scale work tomorrow.

Nice weigh in! Looking good! Snowshoeing sounds fun and it looks beautiful, but I don't mind our mild winters.

Thank you. :)
Work was ok.
It was so warm out today (+13*C) that I tried to ride outside, unfortunately it was just too wet and slippery. So we went back inside and did the rest of our ride inside.
Forced myself to do my circuit training today. OMG that was hard. I think I pushed myself harder in some areas which was good, but man it felt difficult today. And there were so many people in the yoga room today to hear me gasping for air. Ugh.
Only got back to my house at like 7:30 so by the time I ate supper it was close to 8.

Lunch: Lasagna
Snack: Orange
Supper: Miracle Whip/Honey Shrimp and Grilled Cheese
Snack: 1/4 package jello (made), 3 cookies, popcorn
Total Cals: 1476

Pictures looked awesome, glad you enjoyed doing that and had fun. That is always the best exercise! Difficult is good, challenges yourself and your body. But hey, you made it through and are better because of it! Do you happen to do anything after your supper as far as light exercise or something?

Thank you. After supper I rarely move from my couch!! Getting up to go to the bathroom is about as active as I get!
165.8 this morning.

Work was a bit interesting today. Finished off the day around 3, was in the bathroom about to change when I heard a ruckus in the shop. I came out to see what was going on and my groomer had been bit by the dog she was grooming! Blood everywhere. She said it wasn't too bad, I think the dog's canine tooth went into the skin more sideways than straight down so I don't think it was a bad puncture. I ended up taking over the dog's grooming. He tried a few times but I made it VERY clear to the dog that that was NOT ok and he gave up. He's an opportunistic dog, if he think he can he will, if he thinks he can't he won't try. Ended the groom without another incident but instead of leaving the shop at 3 I left it at about 4 (which isn't a late day, but I had it planned in my mind that I would leave at 3). This pushed my day back a bit.
Had a good ride at the barn, but by the time I finished it was like 5:50. By the time I got home and changed and to the gym it was 6:30.
I went on the treadmill today. Tried it with a 1.0 incline. Definitely made things a bit harder (plus my muscles are hating me with the yoga and circuit training). Did a speed of 4.8, intervals of 13-14 mins, 1 min sprint at 7.0. I went 3.85 miles (6.2kms) and treadmill said cal burn of 518. 50 mins (including warmup and cooldown)
By the time I got done with that it was 7:30 and I just could not think of any 'supper' foods I wanted to eat. Ugh. I ended up just having a bagel, then more snacky foods for the rest of the evening. (Was gonna have jello but I pushed my jello into the wrong spot in the fridge and it froze :( )

Lunch: 1/2 Enchilada
Snack: Tried to have an orange but it was gross
Supper: Bagel with PB
Snacks: White cheddar popcorn, 3 cookies, and homemade 'kettle corn' popcorn
Total cals: 1483

BTW had really good news on the financial front in regards to the horse show! Just before bed yesterday the trainer I was hoping to work for contacted me. She confirmed that she was needing a groom and I was hired! (first yay!), she also said that she could trailer my horse there! And her cost was 700 (compared to most other people that charge 1200!) and we can just exchange me working for her trailering my horse so it's 'free'! (second yay!), then she offered for me to bunk with her in her trailer/RV, it's cold (no real heat, could be -30*C outside at that time yet) but it's free! (third yay!) So costs just went from around 3000 to around 1000!! So much savings!!
The only bad part was that since it was right before bed, it was bouncing around in my mind and kept me up/woke me up so I had a very bad night of sleep!
