Thanks guys.
Haha Lama. I hope I'm not roasting those kinds of wieners!

So I knew today's official weigh in wouldn't be good with the water weight from over eating. Whoops.

Starting weight: 183.5
Current Weight: 142.6 (+1.6)
First Mini Goal Weight: 160 by March 27 *Accomplished March 20th*
Second Mini Goal Weight: 144 by July 3 *Accomplished July 3rd*
Third Mini Goal Weight: 133 by September 4
Final Goal Weigh: 125

I'm doing what I need to do to get ready for camping then heading out. I probably won't be updating again till I get back as spotty reception and keeping a charge on my phone will be difficult. Crossing fingers I can eat semi ok, get in my long run and possibly another shorter run, and come back to a good loss for next weeks official weigh in! I will be back Monday afternoon!

Ok, I am back from camping. I didn't do as well eating wise as I had hoped. I was able to be a bit better saturday during the day, but not great the rest of the time. I did get in my long run (16km) and did my fastest yet 5k (27:10).

My fitbit numbers for the past few days

Didn't eat well today, when I got back from camping I went for lunch with my mom and had an alfredo pasta dish. When I got home I had more bad food. Gonna really hope to get that under control tomorrow.
I bought new running shoes today. They are MUCH more cushion-y than the shoes I was wearing. Gonna wear them inside on the treadmill for several runs before running outside so I can return them if they don't feel great. I'm currently dealing with a sore big toe and is very stiff. I'm not sure if it was from ultimate frisbee/soccer in inappropriate shoes, or if it's just from vamping up my running. I don't have time to rest it due to my races but I'm hoping icing it and these new shoes will help.

Take care of your toes girl, you only get the one set... Don´t worry about the camping calories now, just think about your upcoming races and how much easier they will be if you fuel your body with proper food instead of with crap!

{logs into thread to see how Mystic is doing}

Haha Lama. I hope I'm not roasting those kinds of wieners!

{logs back out of the thread}

By the way, that was one heck of Saturday you had. Excellent work there.

Thinking about getting a Fitbit just for fun and to shame my family and friends online with my awesomeness!

Thanks guys.

149 this morning! Phew that's a big jump up on the scales. Mostly water weight but probably a pound or 2 of actual weight.

Quick update as I have been dealing with power issues in my apartment building due to storms today. 2 hours with no power and now 2 hours of partial power (I have dim lights but not much else including wifi and the ability to charge my phone)
Work was ok. Not too busy. Left at 3 and went to the barn to ride. My horse was pretty good
Came home and that's when the storm started and I lost power. Went and did my workout with only security lights to light up the room and those even died partway through.
Squats 125lbs
Overhead press 60lbs
Deadlift 125lbs
Could actually do one full pull up today and got pretty high on the others. Still did 10 second holds, 5 reps.
Had to do the spin bike instead of the treadmill due to power outage. It wasnt too bad, though it was getting warm in there without air conditioning. I don't like the spin bikes As they don't tell you how fast you are going, how far, or any other info, but they do work in a power outage.

Did well, almost too well, on my eating today. Won't list my food as I need to stop draining my battery and wasting my data but total cals were
963
I hadn't intended to be so low in my cals it just sorta happened

I have synced my Fitbit with my calorie counter (Mfp) and am allowing it to make adjustments based on what my Fitbit says I burn everyday. Gonna try it for a couple weeks and see if I like working my cals that way.

Fitbit totals for today at 10:45
Steps: 6276 (biked instead of ran)
Miles: 2.62 (not including bike )
Floors: 5
Cal Burn: 1968

Deficit: 1005

Tomorrow, when I hopefully have full power, I will go around to everyone's diaries.

146.6 this morning. Coming down from the water weight from the bad eating the last week and a bit.

After work I had planned to go to the barn but it was threatening more severe thunderstorms so I decided against it.
Went home and headed to the gym. First run in my new shoes. It was painful, however I'm not going to give up on the shoes yet as my feet are terrible to fit shoes to and I may just need to break them in. They seemed to get a little more comfy as the run went on, but that could just be because my body was getting used to the pain and filtering it out, not sure. It was a tough run, not sure if that was because of the shoes, or cause I biked yesterday, or because I was on the treadmill which I haven't done much the last few weeks, or because I ate pretty low cal yesterday.
My distance was 8.63km including a 10 min walk cooldown, 2 min walk warmup up and 1-1:30 min walk breaks every 10 mins. I haven't needed walk breaks in a long time, though maybe I didn't NEED them, just took them. Cal burn was supposedly 658 and it took me an hour.

Continued to read my book that I started re-reading yesterday, taking a couple breaks to go on my comp or watch a couple Archer episodes while I ate supper. It's a good thing I wasn't on my computer for too long today because my power cord has suddenly not decided to work. It's done this to me before and after a couple days I finally brought it into an electronic store intending to buy a new cord but also have them check it to see if there was another reason why it wasn't charging. They plugged it into their plug in and it started to charge, then plugged it in with my plug in and it started to charge. When I got home I plugged it in and it worked again. Not sure why it started working again, but hoping it will just start going on it's own again and that I won't either have to go through that again, or have to buy a new cord.

Did well on food again today and feel quite on track with that.

Lunch: Peanut butter granola bar
Snack: Watermelon
Supper: Quiche, watermelon, salad
Snack: Yogurt with raspberries, ice cream sandwich, popcorn with cinnamon and sugar

144.4 this morning.

Work was fine but I felt very tired, and when I feel tired like that I know I am far more likely to eat poorly.
At the end of the day, when I was deciding what I would do with my evening, whether I would ride and workout, or stay at home since I could feel the strong pull to go home and do nothing and eat, I desperately checked my diary praying that I would read someone responding to my diary and giving me support. I felt like if I could just have read one person encouraging me right then that I would be able to fight back and have an ok evening. But there was no replies, none at all, and though I know that I have only myself to blame and that I should not rely on other people to carry me when I'm feeling lost, sometimes you sometimes just need a little bit of support to help get you through.
And so, I went home and ate terribly. I ended up eating 3255 calories before I was able to call it quits.
My fitbit and my new found desire to exercise to help offset bad eating pushed me through to go exercise. I went and did a 15min warm up on the treadmill, then did my weights
Squat 130lbs
Bench Press 65lbs
Barbell Row 65lbs
5 pull up holds

I then hopped back onto the treadmill and did 45 more mins on there. Not sure exactly what the distance or cal burn was as I stopped to go to the bathroom quickly partway through and the treadmill reset.

Due to feeling a little disillusioned with this forum right now I don't have it in me to go around to everyone's threads today (plus my laptop still is refusing to charge), which is maybe a little hypocritical of me, but in a small way the forum let me down a little today and I'm not in the mood to do it.

I used to feel teary at times & feel that I was talking to myself. You must be feeling sensitive & I'm sorry I missed your diary yesterday. I think of you as being really in control & very determined to lose weight. If I had an inkling that you were struggling I would have said something. You always have my support Mystic, just as I know I have yours. Much love xoCate

Now I feel guilty I didn´t respond yesterday. Sorry about that girl! I just didn´t have any more writing energy left :( Sending hugs and hoping you feel better today.

Thanks guys. I didn't want to make anyone feel guilty, it was just disheartening when I was having a hard time, and since this is a diary I write to a bunch of strangers I can write any and all feelings and not have to worry about what I say.
I have been struggling a good bit eating wise lately. Trying to change that.

My laptop still won't charge so I will try to make this quick so I can go around to everyone's diaries.

145 this morning. No surprise I was up after yesterday's binge but I was actually surprised it wasn't higher.

Work was fine. A little slow though I fit in 2 more really easy dogs.
Left work and rushed off to the barn to ride my horse. It was pretty good, I then got off him and led him over some jumps. He was a little confused at first but got the idea at the end.
I had originally planned to do a run but, partly due to time crunch I didn't. The other part was that I was thinking about all the physical activity I would be doing this weekend (more on that later) and thought that it would really be good to have a rest day. I did decide that when I hung out with my friend in the evening that I would encourage us to go for a walk.
I picked up vietnamese and brought it to my friend's house. We ate it then went for a walk. A much longer walk than I was expecting! I didn't think my friend would want to walk so much, but it was such a lovely evening that we just kept going. And when we finally decided that that was far enough we still had to come back! Definitely got my steps in. I did have some random flashes of pain in my right knee. Not sure what that was about but hopefully it doesn't bother me. When I got back to her house I took an advil in case. We then just watched a movie.

Ate well today, happy about that. Gonna try to watch it this weekend, and not let myself over indulge because 'I'm exercising a lot'

So tomorrow's plan is
Long run, though I think I'm going to make it a 12km run. I don't think I need to do too many LOONG runs before my race.
Go to the beach with my mom, probably gonna try those stand up paddle board things that are all the rage right now.
If I have time, work on my table and chair refinishing.
Then go to a Capture the Flag meet up. So more running and exercise there.
Sunday's plan is a hiking meet up! Interesting to see what my fitbit spits out for cal burn for the weekend.

Not gonna post my food to save time/battery but cals were

Sounds like a very energetic & positive week-end coming up. I felt exhausted just reading what you have planned! 12km run? Aaah- youthful energy! I want some please xoC

Thanks Cate. I'm not currently looking forward to my long run tomorrow!

I forgot today was official weigh in day. It sucks I had a high cal day tomorrow to throw off today's weigh in but hopefully it just means I'll show a big loss next week.

I´m really curious to hear what you think about the stand-up paddling; it looks good fun but there´s no opportunity to try it around here. Have fun, fingers crossed for healthy eating!

I'm also interested in this standing up paddy thing...not that I would ever do it since I get seasick standing near water. Showers are iffy for me :ack2:

THanks guys.

144 this morning.
Started the day of doing pictures/measurements. I'll post those later because I'm too lazy now haha.

Then headed out for my 12km run. It was a bit tough today for whatever reason but got through it
Time: 1 hour, 14mins
Pace: 6:09mins/km
Cals: 1077

Headed to the beach after with my mom. Mostly sun tanned but did try those stand up paddle boards. The first minute after you stand up you feel really wobbly, but it doesn't take long to feel more stable. It was good, I don't know why people love it so much more than kayaking right now, I would like them about the same. Had a picnic lunch there. I resisted the chips and such my mom brought.
I got my laptop working by plugging it into an outlet at my mom's house. Don't know why my computer does this sometimes but I guess it's an easy enough fix.
Went grocery shopping on my way home. They of course didn't have my yogurt! Though I did stop and get some frozen yogurt for a snack.
Got home and cut up the watermelon I bought, then made my supper. By the time it was done I just had to quickly eat it before heading out to my meet up.
Lots of fun again. Lots of running and exercise. My teams did really well, I think we won everything.

I'm gonna start posting my Fitbit logs and deficit on the following day instead of the day of so I get the full cal burn to see the actual deficit.

Tomorrow is my hike. I don't imagine it will be too tough of a hike. HOpefully enough to be a workout.

A 12km run was " a bit tough?" [emoji15] awesome that you did it Mystic- & fast! Sounds like one very active week-end, with good choices xoC

:D What she said! Thanks for reminding me of the watermelon, have some waiting in the fridge and had forgotten about it. Hope you´re having fun on your hike.

Thanks guys.

143.6 this morning.
Yesterday's Deficit: 1139

Went on my hike today. I had a headache from being hungry in the morning which was weird, so I had my granola bar on the drive out. It wasn't a terribly long hike, but it was quite steep, which my fitbit showed! Me and another guys pulled away from the group and just booked it up, got all kinds of sweaty! I'm surprised how few calories my fitbit said that I had burned today for all those floors climbed!

Then the group went out for supper. Had a chicken burger with fries, and coke.
On the way home we stopped for ice cream.
Was planning just to have a bit of popcorn when I got home for night snack, but then I had terrible cravings and gave in to them. And way overate. :( grr... been having a tough time with that lately.

EEK Mystic. It is a shame that you are craving the wrong foods & actually eating them. What's up? You have been doing so well! You can do this. Have one really good, clean eating day & kick that little demon up the butt!xoC
