I bet with school starting there is all kinds of festivities planned for the weekend! Do you have any advice for not indulging in it all?
i wish i did. Thats a constant struggle for me-i dont know if you've read the speculations juni and i were making about how eating more protein throughout the day curbs your cravings. ive recently noticed that its working for me since ive upped my protein intake. Probably has something to do with how protein helps you stay full longer. HOWEVER i just discovered a new challenge for me tonight- even though i wasnt really hungry i kept popping food into my mouth as i was cleaning up after everyone left. thankfully though because i wasnt binging i didnt get that uncomfortable feeling that comes with overeating, but still mindless eating is no good either!
you had mentioned eating some fruit before the wedding to help curb your hunger so you dont end up over eating and i think thats a great plan. I had read somewhere that when our blood sugar level gets too low we are more likely to binge-i guess because our body is starving for some glucose, we tend to go for the sugary stuff - so maintaining a constant level by having something to eat every 3-4 hours will help keep your blood sugar level relatively stable. Having a snack that includes protein and fruit (eg some almonds and an apple,) should be enough to carry you over until ur next meal.
its 5:30am and sleep has finally caught up with me-hope this makes sense, if not please let me know-hope your weekend is going great!

I wish I could get on a routine for the weekends instead of crashing and burning all the time. I'm finding it so hard today to resist temptation. The only thing keeping me away is knowing the scale will tell the truth tomorrow
so much better with berries
