It's so nice to have a goal to work towards, and someone to do it with. It really does make you accountable. Week 1 was hard to be honest, but I feel like I've got a good start. And I'm realizing just how much of a sabateur my husband is. I was so good this weekend and last night he went out and got McDonald's, and of course I ate it, and of course it was wonderfulI think what's going to make the biggest difference for us is going to be meal planning. That way there's no reason to eat out twice a week. You know, it wasn't a great week, but I feel really good about it!!

Ah yes- the evil McDonalds. ha ha...I've managed to avoid that temptation for the most part. In fact fast food in general hasn't been a part of my diet for months now. Thank goodness my hubby isn't a fast food fan or I would be much weaker in my resolve! Meal planning makes a HUGE difference. I make a weekly menu and have it on the fridge on a magnetic wipe board so there are no excuses. I do some of the prep the night before and take advantage of the slow cooker a lot (I work in an office 4 days a week which makes it extra challenging.) I'm gald you feel good about your first week! Small steps are key, and it really sounds like you've made a good start.

Next year- VEGAS BABY! And perhaps renewed vows with Elvis? We'll see!
