108 bang on this morning! My body sure is making me work HARD to lose weight this time round, perhaps that means it'll stay off in the long run too?
Bootcamp again last night, I had to get my o/h to physically push me out the door as I did not want to go! I was in SO much pain from Tuesdays session, I felt sick thinking about the torture last night would put me through. I am glad I went though, as this morning I don't feel anywhere near as sore (??), even though I worked hard (but not as hard as I could have, I was knackered!).
For my own notes, Tuesday included: jog to the cricket pitch and back twice + stretches for warm up. Then we did weight work while one member ran a lap of the oval (approx 400m?). One lady can run it in 2mins20sec, so I am setting that as my own little challenge to get that number. I will have to time myself first..
We did weights - bicep curls, raises, squats, lunges, deadlifts, sideways lift (don't know the terms very well lol!), butterfly lifts, raises laying down, rollups (with weights). 2 laps of the oval in total each, and stretching.
Yesterday was wet and miserable, so we all hid under the veranda to do our workout. No weights (phew!), but it was a LOT of leg work, and since I couldn't walk without wincing, it was hard. Very hard.
Normal warm up + stretching. Then did a few exercises, adding on a new exercise each round. Squats, lunges, push ups (lower abs are STILL sore from last week, which can be felt with the push ups..uggghh!!), burpees (I opted not to do these and did 20 reps of the other exercises rather than the 10 burpees), jump squats, jump lunges, wide squat thing (wide legs, squat + touch ground, lift up), roll ups (I can't do these as it causes insane back pain to even lay on a hard surface, so I did my own version of rolls ups, more like a sit up). Finished off with a jog across the oval and back, then stretching down.
I was in AGONY after that workout. My poor widdle wobbly legs were in so much pain! After devoiring an amazing dinner, I literally crawled into bed hoping it'd be better in the morning.. and so far, it is! Or perhaps I have to wait the dreaded 2 days for the DOMS. Ugh. Still achy, but at least I can move without wanting to cry (too much LOL).
Eating has been good! I made more coconut chocolate for the girls at Bootcamp, as they were keen to try an alternative to chocolate. I had 3 pieces yesterday which made me feel sick >.< I haven't touched it in weeks, and have no craving for it. Might give it away to family members so I don't have to eat it. I had a non-kebab kebab (contents without the wrap) last week as a treat, this week I had sushi (tuna). The rest of the meals have been pretty good I think? I need to cut down on the sugar-free muffins my mum makes, they are so delicious. I usually grab one when I'm at the horses (every day), so might cut it down to a few a week. That's my only 'treat' after cutting out salty crisps.
Mum made me some lasagna, which I portioned into little portions and froze. I'll make a nice big salad so I can grab a bit of each for lunches. I am still only drinking water (and the occasional coconut + green tea - sooooo delicious!!!), and feeling much better. We had a hot day here the other day, and I hoping I can get through the summer! My 'go to' is a mineral water that contains Iron. I suffer badly from heat stroke, and it seems to be the only thing that I can buy on short notice that helps me from not passing out... It's 92 cal, but contains sugar
I don't know if I should 'allow' myself to have that one drink, or look for an alternative. Although when a migraine is setting in, and your shaking, over heated and about to pass out, sugar content might not come into play.. Hmm.
Clothes are starting to feel different, which is exciting. I swear my boobs have shrunk a little, although they don't look it. Stomach is most certainly feeling less jiggly, and laying down it's almost flat! Standing up gravity hits.. so I prefer to pay down haha.
Righto - off to eat some breaky!

I had a workshop yesterday and decided to try my luck with my always just-a-bit-on-the-tight-side 3/4 jeans. No longer just-a-bit-too-tight, now they are just-a-bit-too-baggy! I had to run across the paddock yesterday afternoon (young horses are great, especially when they think EVERYTHING is a toy and decide to run off with it across a 10 acre paddock) and my pants almost fell off! If I wasn't in the middle of wrangling a foal to give my scoop back I would have jumped for joy (carefully)! So now I'm aiming for 106 flat for Sunday.
with both of you. It does not sound logical at all, nor particularly healthy. I don't eat unlimited fruit, but do eat up to portions a day. Vegetables I don't limit, but have cut out white potatoes, mainly because I think they're almost inedible without lots of salt & I have reduced my salt intake considerably. Changing what we eat for the long-term is a much better solution. Someone is always trying to sell you the next BIG thing, but basically we all know what to do, it's a matter of doing it. It's best to do what suits us personally.
