Time to begin again

Today I'm going to make my start:driving:

I'm bad about counting calories and watching carbs and so forth.
I'm also bad about fresh fruit and veggies. I love them and they taste
ssoooo good. But my husband and I eat out ALL the time. :ack2:

First things first. I am suffering from horrible depression and I am seeking help
for it. I have recently lost my dad on December 5-07. My mom, little brother and Grandparents have also passed. There isn't many of us left.:angelsad2:
I am a stress eater. I eat when I'm board and I pretty much am a couch potato or I'm on the computer.:(

I am also Epileptic so I have to be careful to keep that in mind when it comes to trying diet pills or things like that. I was diagnosed 11 years ago but I had it long before that and didn't know. :grouphug:

I also get migraines and the only way I can get rid of them is with a cup of coffee and Excedrin. I had them so bad I had to start drinking coffee almost daily or I would have one. I've had migraines since I was in 3rd grade.:smash:

Well here I go:auto:

April 8th 2008-
I didn't sleep well again. 5 or so hours.

For breakfast:
2 potato rolls
2 cups of coffee with cream and sugar
2 glasses of water

I am planning Lunch and Dinner
Lunch: Chinese take out :leaving:
Fried rice and orange chicken
2 glasses of water

Dinner: Tin foil dinner
1 hamburger patty with baby red potato's and small carrots
Ketchup will also be added
2 glasses of water

I drink a lot of water but I like to drink 2 glasses while I eat so it helps fill me up.

I know I will have 2 cans of regular pepsi- can't drink diet aspartame effects my epilepsy.

As of now my weight is 230. I'm 5'7 so I'm thinking a good weight would be 140? I don't know. I'm a :newbie: and don't know to much so I need help.

Diet pills are not the answer - you can accomplish your goals with sensible diet and moderate exercise - both will probably help out with your depression as well...

As for counting calories -it's not difficult - get yourself an account at and keep track of everything you eat...

Do spend time reading around the forum - especially the stickied threads in nutriton, on topic and exercise -you'll gain a lot of much needed valuable information to aid you on your journey.. After reading, do ask questions...

As for bored eating... what are some hobbies you'd like to try out? Don't give yourself the option to be bored... Find something that interests you...
