Hello everyone :)

A friend led me in the direction of this forum.

I start my journey on Sunday.

I'm well over 100kgs...will find out how much on Sunday morning..and that's the jumping off point I suppose.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you...and meeting you all.

Hi TT, Welcome to the forum & to the wonderful world of Cohen's. You have made a great decision that should change your life. If you follow the program 100% until you get to your goal weight & then follow the maintenance guidelines you should get slim & stay slim. It's up to you really. If you want to become slim, you will!~ Use your consultants to ask any questions you might have, either by email or phone. Use us for support whenever you like. Use this thread as your diary if you like & add to it whenever you wish. It's very therapeutic, I find. You can rant & rave, share your feelings etc. It's all yours. I'm fairly tired tonight & don't think I'm making much sense so will head for now, 'night, cate.

Welcome TT,

Congratulations on making such a life changing decision to be slim.

I have been on the programme 10 weeks and have managed to lose 17kg. I have certainly experienced some difficulties along the way but have used this forum and my consultants to get back on track.

Looking forward to reading your diary,
Trudy

Hi TT,
Welcome to the forum (I know I'm a bit late). Good luck with the program. Remember to stay focused and stick to the program and you will positively melt. I have been back on the program for nearly 11 weeks and I'm down 20.5kgs so far. This is my 2nd time round but please don't be disheartened by my shortcomings. I had a lot of stress in my life after completing this the first time and I turned (again) to food as my comfort. No fault of the program. Most people have great success on this and I'm sure you'll be a success too. The first week is the hardest so make sure you don't plan too much for yourself (especially in the first day or two). Just veg out and take it easy and let you body get rid of all those toxins and you will be feeling terrific in no time at all.
Take care
Beck

Heya TT - nice to see people who use KG again *sigh*

Dont worry, you get used to converting back and forth :D

Well so much for starting on Sunday.

Procrastinating isn't going to make me feel better or less scared or anxious about the whole thing....Doesn't help with the occasional family emergecy that crops up...but I COULD have worked around that if I was honest with myself.

I've made my breakfast and tomorrow is the day.

No more excuses.
No more last hurrahs.

I'm all nervous and excited and terrified.

I'll be fine. I just need to do it.

Hi TT, Hope you are able to get going with the program because the sooner you do, the sooner you will be the slim person you want to be. Try not to tackle too much the first week until you're used to it. You may experience head-aches as your body gets rid of the toxins. Drink lots of water. The hunger subsides fairly quickly & then you'll be all systems go. I look forward to following your progress, cheers, Cate.
