i swear by squats.. maybe you could throw those in there on wednesday(benchpress, squats, deadlifts all release testosterone bc u use so many muscles & everyone likes testosterone! lol)

considering ur a catcher, keep ur leg workouts as far away from practice & especially games as possilbe!

I'm personally very against leg curls and leg extensions - you can work all those muscles and more by doing squats, deadlifts, good mornings, and lunges. You really need to add some good lower body work-outs into your routine.

As a catcher you don't need 30-60 minutes of cardio work. You need a couple of days of HIIT for your cardio.

You also don't need all that bench pressing or lat pulldowns. You don't need leg extensions or wrist curls. There's also no reason to be doing reps of 20 for your calves.

What you do need is more shoulder work for your rotator cuff, more posterior end work, more explosive work-stuff like high rows, cleans and jerks. You also need more trunk work like full contact twists, weighted Russian twists, Turkish get ups, and tree choppers. For biceps you should concentrate on hammer curls for your brachioradialis.

Go for pull ups instead of lat pulldowns, throw in some dips instead of so many bench sets, and some unilateral leg work.

Evo's dead on bud. Take it from a high school umpire, as a catcher, you need to be able to get out of your crouch explosively (that right there is enough for you to be albe to gun down that runner stealing 2nd, instead of your 2B or SS applying the tag to the middle of his back). The trunk twisting exercises will help you with power in your swing.
