This is it: Kirsty's Finally Maintaining!

I did make another diary but didn't realize I'd stolen someone else's diary name - apologies!
Gonna keep this short and sweet.
My highest weight every has been 170 lbs.
I'm now around 117-118 and aiming to maintain between 115-118.

My biggest problem with not loosing weight is alcohol. I'm not an excessive drinker but I am a uni student...so you get the idea!
I'm really gonna try and cut it down to one night a week or special occasions.

My exercise consists of Wii Fit and lots of walking in general, but I'm hoping to get an exercise bike for Christmas!

Off to go and post in some diaries now - which I've been slacking on sorry!
Any comments and support would be appreciated :) It's what keeps me going!
Thanks for reading :seeya:

Hey Kirsty.
HUGE congratz on the weight loss. Must be an amzing feeling to be maintaining.
Do you mind me asking how long it took for you to lose the weight?

Lol - totally understand the alcohol thing since I'm a uni student too :)

Hey thank you!
I'm semi-maintaing, I'd love to lose the last 2 pounds but I think they will come off slowly and I'm ok with that :)

I've written the full story here

So much for not going out and not drinking last night!
But I did dance my ass off and was super good with food yesterday. I'll be drinking again tomorrow - its a friends birthday and we are all going out dressed as fairies.
Gonna up my exercise I think.
I got a cold coming on too, my housemates have been really ill with flu for the past few weeks and I really hope I'm not getting the same thing!

Went shopping yesterday and bought
Cucumber
Tomato
Whole meal pitta
Yoghurt
Reduced Fat Humous
Fat Free Vinaigrette Dressing

Hi Kristy!!! Wow your weight is amazing.. good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!:hurray::hurray: Yeah one of my problems is alcohol too.. :iagree:lmao.. I try to stick to vodka and tonics but after too many oh no... Hey so how is the wii fit working out/?? I have been thinking of purchasing one.. Is it worth it for excersize purposes.. Does it really work? Anyways good luck on all your endeavors .. Thought I'd stop by too say hi...:cheers2:

You can abandon Alcohol

Leave alcohol by a very basic method.Take a free day, drink as much alcohol as you want,1 day total alcohol and eat randomly, then you will see that you will start vomiting, heavy vomiting and heavy randomness in stomach. You will see the side-effect of alcohol in 1 day and that will be everlasting experience to surrender alcohol.
