Hello! I have been looking for an online forum to help me with my weight loss attempts. Having someone, or in this case a lot of someones, help encourage, enspire, and suggest tips to me along the way will hopefully help me actually reach my goals and keep the weight off. :newbie:

I am 28, 5' 8" and currently weigh in at 200 lbs. :puke: In college I typically weighed 150-160 lbs, but I one summer I was able to loose 30 lbs and weighed 140 lbs for about 2 semesters and loved the way I looked and felt. :rotflmao:

My current food intake needs to improve. :banghead: Less processed food and more healty and natural foods. I also need to increase my exercise and activity level. Right now I work out 6-10 days per month which is horrible since most people with great looking bodies work out 5-7 days each week. My goal is to work out 3 days per week to get started and once I get consistant with that, then I'll work on increasing that.

I realize 140 lbs is not a realistic goal right now, but I'm hoping maybe it can be in the far future. My current, and hopefully attainable, goal is to lose 10% of my current weight and get down to 180 lbs before Thanksgiving. I know it sounds crazy to plan a weight loss goal right before a major eating Holiday, but to maintain weight loss, there will be many Holidays to withstand, right?

Well, good luck to me and keep up the good work to all of you currently doing great and losing weight.

So no great acomplishments over the last 2 days. I know having a busy schedule is not an excuse, but I'm having a hard time finding time to work out. Including drive time to and from work I pretty much work 12 hr days and am just tired when I get home. I already get up at 5:45 am for work and the I've tried getting up earlier to work-out before work and the snooze button is a lot more inviting than getting up and going to the gym. Oh well, I will continue my battle and hopefully start to make progress. At least I'm thinking and talking about it. Admitting that I have a problem of being lazy and skipping work-outs is the first step, right?
