This and That Weight Loss Diary

I almost always eat after working out. I think it's probably a good thing as long as you are eating healthy foods/right portions.

I've heard the "after 6pm rule" before too, but I think it's probably just a myth. I eat dinner some times around 10 & it helps me sleep more than anything and doesn't seem to inhibit weight loss.

I just posted somthing simular in another thread, but here is goes anyway. I think too often we forget how important sleep is to our bodies. If we punish our bodies by continuous exercise and not resting properly then we are not helping but hurting our weight lose. Our bodies need to recover from what we put them trough, especially when we are pushing hard like we are to lose weight. IMO I would rather take a day off of working out if I know that it could cause me to lose rest. Rant over now. ;) Just my thought on it.

That's very true Coffeebro If I ever feel tired I can't go out, It's sleep first other things later on.
uyis11 I'm glad that I'm not the only one. I tend to do that a lot.

Today I did jog, ate very well and after a jog I ate 2 apples and a pear
I need to add weight lifting now, and I should start doing more tummy work.

Hello kotki Your welcome
for posting in your photos your doing a great job :) just always keep going
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I should update everyone as to how my journey has been so far. It's been pretty dare I say unwell, instead of keeping to my goals and fight my food habits I keep eating the wrong things. Yesterday I ate lots of bread and ate some cake *faints
but, tomorrow I will *fingers crossed go for that long needed jog that I have been too lazy to do.
The scale is not the one that's hurting me, it's me and my not-so-smart decisions that I make. I 'am currently walking my dog and that helps a bit. Basically I need to stop fooling around, start doing something.
Every night except yesterday I've been lifting weights to tone my arms these past few weeks I've gone from 20 to 140 which is not too bad
I will try and jog for an hour, go for a walk, then bike for 3 hours on Monday.
That is my daily thing, I use to do it 2 weeks ago I just got lazy.
I' am also thinking of getting a gym membership but in the winter, that'll be a while.
Anywho I really must stop with the Ice cream, bread and cake.
That's all for now, take care everyone

Thanks i will do! sorry to hear that your eating the wrong things iam sure that your be back on track in no time, just stay focused

Thank You very much, I' am glad to have met you on here :)
I did better than the past few weeks. I did eat 2 snacks. 1 was high in fat. The other was pretty good. I am going to go out for a walk, just hope it doesn't end up raining like yesterday.

oh im soo happy that you have a diary!

i love dogs... currently im torn between getting a jack russell terrier or a weimareiner (spelling?) !!!

It's been a while and I thank everyone for responding to my diary, I've come a LONG way from the person I have been to the person I'am now.. weight loss has became an important part of my life, where as in the past attempts (that I've failed to achieve back then) it was more of a chore for me, weight loss was a chore that I had to wake up to each and every day. I had to force myself to exercise, to eat healthy and motivation was not there on my part.

I will be posting my before as well as my in-between pictures shortly.
