Thinspiration: starvation for perfection

Look. I am NOT dirty.

POSSIBLE RESPONSE #1: I know...Paris Hilton is the one who is dirty.

POSSIBLE RESPONSE #2: :thinks to self: "Hmm, that means that MGR is slutty though. Aaaaawesome." Umm...so, what are you doing later? I have a Spider-Man DVD and a box of Bagel Bites in the freezer if, you know...you wanna come over or sumpin'.

I assume it's syphilis that she gives me, cause I feel stupider just looking at her. Cause, ya know, syphilis causes brain damage. Ok, it's early for me and I'm stretching for it, sorry.

paris hilton had syphilis?

lol she must get a treatment...

Sorry to bump that old post. My friend was anorexic during 1 year. She's 5"10, and was 170 lbs. She made her way to 125 lbs, by looking at those stupid websites. It was horrifying... she looked so sad and sick, like grey skin, she lost a lot of hairs and looked so pityfull. She is big boned, so 125 lbs was waaaaay too low. It was so sad...

To consider shutting such sites down or trying to convince people how bad it is if we just had better nutrition/fitness education in the school systems.

aprilhunny, speaking as somebody who is eating disordered, I can say that your comment is very inaccurate (and callous.) While I, myself, have never used thinspiration, I have, in the course of my recovery, met many anorexics who do. They, to quote you, "are truly anorexic," and looking at such sites is part of their disease.

I realise that this thread is old, but, I had to address that.
