I completly agree.
When one sticks to a work out routine day in and day it, one will get really bored and so will the muscles. You won't be able to progress as quickly as you wanted to. But don't forget that reaching some goals is a long road so be patient.

If you are on a program such as Rippetoe's or 5x5 then that does not apply.It's good to change lifts, reps, and sets.
