Think For Yourself

I completly agree.
When one sticks to a work out routine day in and day it, one will get really bored and so will the muscles. You won't be able to progress as quickly as you wanted to. But don't forget that reaching some goals is a long road so be patient.

Is it good to change your reps/sets? How often should a weight routine change?

It's good to change lifts, reps, and sets.

I hear different all the time on how often a routine should be changed. Some people say 6 weeks, others say more. It's not really set in stone.

If you are on a program such as Rippetoe's or 5x5 then that does not apply.

And afaik there are different stages to stronglifts and ripptoes so techincally you are supposed to change things up over time.
