Then: 240 Now: 201 and only 13 years old

Hi my name is Megan. Im 13. Almost a year ago I was 240 pounds. It was the biggest I've ever gotten. But I changed my ways. I did more outdoor things and cut back on a lot of food. Now I'm down to 201 as of this morning. I still have a ways to go. My goal weight is 130. Hopefully with the right support I will get where I want and need to be. Not only to feel good but to be able to do anything. Im not all the way there but here is my progress so far. Sorry they are not that big.

You should be so proud of yourself! You're taking such good care of yourself. You look absolutely beautiful and so happy in your current photo. Your before photos seem to show a sad look - but that look is gone now. :) Congratulations on doing this weight loss a very safe and practical way. Keep doing what you're doing! :)
 
First off, you are beautiful no matter what your weight it! But congrats on your weight loss. That is so great that you are living a healthy lifestyle now, keep up the great work girly! :)

When I was 12 I was about 235lbs (107kg) myself. I lost 40kg/88lbs in under 1 year if I recall. Ate 1200 calories each day and did any exercise I could do, which at the time was running to and from the letterbox (we lived on a big property) plus lots of simple things like skipping rope, star jumps, lunges, sit ups, push ups etc. The best thing about being young is that your metabolism can really pump once you get started, so it will be much easier for you to lose now than it would be in a few years if you didn't do something about it. I started putting a bit of weight back on when I was about 16, and I'm now 21 and it's not -quite- as easy to lose but I'm getting there at a good pace all the same with cardio, yoga, weights and a balanced 1200cal diet. Not that much to lose this time though, luckily! 169lbs at the moment and heading towards my goal of 135. :)

It'll all be gone before you know it, so don't give up!

You look beautiful, and with dramatic results already. Imagine when you reach your goal, you will look like a different person. Keep up the great work, you deserve to reach your goal. Every choice counts.

I also started losing weight when I was 13. I ended up losing a lot. I'm 20 now. But then I gained it back, which is why I'm here today....

I'm wishing you luck that you stay committed!

lol.. well i dont think she has to worry about getting taller.. she's already like 5'10... She has done such a great job.
