the right exercises?

ok im a big guy a real big guy and i want to lose wieght fast! for christmas now im going onto a strict diet i.e 3 small real healthy meals a day and loadsa water now i dnt have enuff confidence to go to a gym and i dont have any equitment i was wondering what are the right exercises i should be doing i know arobic but more specificly? i try running up and down the stairs and the odd few sit ups but what else can i do? thanks
 
you'll be better off eatting six healthy meals a day, rather than 3 small ones. It will help stop the cravings to.

staying active thruout the day will help you, i.e. when you need to go up stairs, go up, down and back up again.

You wont be able to loose tonnes of weight before xmas, but if you start eatting right and exercisesing now, you'll look great by next xmass and for the rest of your life.

Rea thru the forums and you'll find loads of interesting and helpfull stuff

but also what arobic exersises can i actualy do? btw i cant swim or ride a bike :)mad: ) i no about joggin runnin goin for long walks ect. n sit ups anything else that would be good?
 
Anything that raises your heart rate is exercise.
I suggest you buy a heart rate monitor, it will help a lot.

If jumpping up and down raises your heart rate enough then thats fine.

You can try doing one push up, standing, jumping and down to another pushup etc...
 
Start with bodyweight exercises. It boggles my mind that no one on this "fitness site" mentions them.

If you're just starting out try this. A pyramid work out of nothing but bodyweight exercises. It is a combines resistance and cardio work out.

You do squats, push ups, crunches, and pull ups. if you can't do pull ups try a body row.

You will do each set of four exercises with no break between exercises. your reps work like this.

1 squat, 1 PU, 1 crunch, 1 pull up 30 sec rest.

The 2 of each, then 3 of each etc up to 10 of each

you are now at the top of the pyramid rest 1 minute then go down

9 of each, 8,7,6 down to one.

when you're done you will have done 100 reps of each.

After you can do this start changing exercises, add lunges, dive bombers, etc etc etc.

Then you can start doubling the pyramid 2,4,6,8,10 up to 20 and down

When you're doing 500 squats and 300 push ups and 200 pull ups a day you are officially a stud.
