It would be helpful if you provided some more details about yourself - gender, age, weight, height, level of current activity. As mentioned above, your food plan is going to determine so much more of your weight loss results than exercise.
The reason for this is that 70% of all calories you eat are utilized for basic body functions - heart beating, blood pumping, new cell growth, blinking your eyes, etc. Only 20% of average energy used in the body is from exercise. That is a much smaller percentage than I would like, but it is the truth.
