Hello everyone!
My name is Matthew and I am 26 years old.
I joined this forum to hopefully help myself get motivated about getting fit. I used to work out and had a pretty physically laboring job, but then I quit that job and got a "lazy" job and also quit working out. I guess I was satisfied with where I was at that point, but it has lead to where I am now. However, I am positive about it! I see it as new material that I can turn into muscle.
I am 5' 11" tall and currently weigh 196 lbs while before I weighed 154 lbs. My idea is not really to lose the weight and get back to where I was as I looked "too skinny" but simply convert the fat to muscle.
I've tried to start working out again for about a year but can never stick with it like I used to. The only thing different between then and now is I currently didn't have a way to keep track and get feedback on my progress. I like taking pictures and, before, I had done a picture once a week that helped keep me motivated and on track.
So that is what I plan on doing here. I hope no one minds!
