AHH! I did NOT want either team that got below the yellow line to go. I was sooo sad to see the grey team go. They showed their "now" pictures and a little video of them...and I have to say...the son is looking mighty

Very impressive!
I didn't keep track of how many times I had to get up to exercise :/ I know that I did quite a few push-ups, jumping jacks and sit-ups during the show. I didn't remember what exercise was for each, so I just did those three exercises at random everytime someone cried, complained, and when there was product placement. My favorite was the gum, because it was sooo sly!! They didn't even talk about it. They just showed one of the pink team members slowly reaching for it on the table and they zoomed in on it! I laughed so hard!
I am such a fan of the biggest loser. It really gets me motivated. Although I love Jillian, so far this season she seems a little too mean. What do you think?
Jill
I don't think she's any tougher than she has been. I guess it's just her style. Some people would just crumble being yelled at though. My doctor who delivered my baby was like that. She yelled at me the whole time and was screaming things like, "You're making me work!!" and "You'll never get this done and we'll be here ALL night!" Then she was yelling at the nurses and they got in an argument.... I think for some people that would have motivated them, but for me after about a minute of that I was ready to accept defeat! If it hadn't been for a close friend of mine coaching me in my ear telling me not to listen to her I prob. would have ended up having a C-section. I pushed him out in 12 minutes after I stopped listening to that crazed doctor. I don't know if it's the same for fitness coaching, but I just can't take someone yelling in my face!!
I was sad to see the grey team leave, I really didnt know how they would do when they got home but OMG was i shocked!!!! They were doing so good!!!!! The son looks so different, he is starting to look very cute<3
Same here! My jaw dropped! I thought the son on the grey team was really cute before, but now he is reallllly cute! haha. Can't wait for next week when they go to the Grand Canyon!
I think it's stupid how the trainers train every one exactly the same. Then again, it's tv and not reality. Except for that one old dude who has too many contraindications.
I mean, from my perspective, training is an art form. It's something that must be adapted to match the personality type of the client/contestant. Maybe that's happening behind the scenes but it certainly isn't happening on the show.
Yeah, I'd like to find somewhere that has past contestants on the show telling exactly how it was over there and not just what the viewer sees.
How do you know they are being trained the same? I think they work out like 8 hours a day, 6 days a week and they just don't show the one on one training a whole lot, but I have seen it.
I've never seen them go into
exactly what their routines are, so I don't think anyone knows exactly what they do on a day to day basis. I do wish the show would give us more of an idea of their routine and what they eat. My thoughts about the reason for this is that they don't want people copying exactly what's being done, b/c these people are being supervised by health professionals and the average veiwer is not. Just a thought...
