The biggest loser show (biggest looser)

I love it! I am a fan of the show, so I guess my opinion is somewhat biased  But I would recommend starting from the beginning so that you get to know the personalities and you know what's going on. Yes, it can be cheesy sometimes. Almost all reality shows are. I think the cheesiest parts are when they do product placement. It happens like once each show and for like 2 minutes everyone is kinda ooing and ahhing over Nabisco 100 calorie packs or Wriggly's Sugar Free gum....It's kinda funny IMO and a little entertaining! haha! But definately watch the first episode...they will probably give a lot of background to the people on the show.
Ahh, well a little cheesiness won't bother me, especially if it's a little entertaining. :D

I'll definitely check out the first episode, then... The weight loss on the show, from fan's descriptions, IMO sounds really unrealistic for normal people... But just watching other people struggle with the same thing that I am may be a good new source of inspiration despite that. :Angel_anim:

Or do 10 pushups every time someone cries.....You will probably out lose the contestants.

LOL...I might actually use this one.

10 push-ups for tears, lunges for alliances, sit-ups for everytime someone backstabs, and an extra mile run for each time they elliminate someone who was actually working hard.

By the end of the season, I will be in my skinny jeans for sure.

Instead of the Rachel Ray Drinking Game -this could be the biggest loser Exercise game :)

oooh i got an idea :D

That sounds great. Pity I can't get it over here in Ireland.

Saw some of the last season on a channel over here that was showing it, and while it is entirely unrealistic for normal people at home I found it somehow very motivating.

Would have loved to do that exercise game while watching the new series.

aww, that's a bummer :( Maybe we can find a site where they have full episodes online each week that it plays on tv....I'll let you know if I find anything.

Just looking into that now! Think I may be on to something too. Pretty sure I will be able to do this, but I may be a few days behind the rest of ye!

Thanks for thinking of me.

And if you are unable to get it then we can just come back and give you your "Biggest Loser episode exercise assignment."

It would look something like this:

Hey man, they cried ten times. You owe 100 push-ups! Now get down and give em to me!!

...or something like that.

I'm sure you can down load it somewhere. Are you morally or ethically against the piracy of copyrighted creative properties?

yeah but if you downloaded it -you'd have to watch it -and why'd ya wanna do that? :D

Just get the assignment and go out in the real world :D

Mal: Ha! I usually hate reality TV but the few episodes of the last season I saw sucked me in and were quite motivating in a get up off your ass kind of way. I'm quite sceptical about the long term benefits of such quick weight loss and all that jazz but to be completely honest I care more about me than them, so if it gets me off my butt and into the gym then why not!

Edco76: I usually am to be honest. I'm always the sucker who will buy the CD or DVD and won't pirate it. In fact the reason that I said I wasn't sure is because I have my brother looking into it for me. I actually don't even know how! The way I figure it, though, is this: The show is on the television for free, they do not release seasons on DVD so they won't be losing money on DVD sales, and I'm not going to give them to anyone else or even keep them after I've watched them. So why not? At least that's what I'm telling myself!

Anyway, I'm notoriously lazy when it comes to this type of stuff, may end up deciding not to bother after a week or two, but this exercise game sounds like fun and I'd like to try and be part of it. :D

I'm in!!! The biggest loser is one of my favorite shows on television! The challenges are awesome. I mean how funny was it that they were locked in a room with food for 10 minutes and had to abstain and the winner consumed the most calories.

Anyways, I can't wait!!!!!!!!

I may have to check this season out. I see commercials for this show and think to myself "Train Wreck!" and move on, but I thought that about Hell's Kitchen too. And I LOVE Hell's Kitchen. :biggrinjester:

EDIT: There's a Rachel Ray Drinking Game? hehehe... why am I not surprised. I have played the Star Wars Drinking Game, made up my own versions of the NASCAR and Star Trek (original series) Drinking Games... heck, EVERYTHING can be a drinking game if you have the imagination for it!

Yeah, I googled it after replying to this thread... she is rather grating. I used to watch the show quite a bit, but now I can't stand it for that very reason.
