Soooo, today is day 1 of my diet/workout. I currently weigh somewhere around 370 pounds or so and am going to have a long way to go. I am starting off with a very low carb/high protein diet with tons of veggies thrown in there. Working out should consist of about 5 good days in the gym and maybe another day just walking or whatnot with my dog. Motivation is good right now because I have a few friends on diets, my 10yr class reunion is coming up later next year, my wife just left me so now I am aiming high and for someone better, etc etc.
Life has had its ups and downs with me. I lost use of my left leg for over a year, have broken my back, and tons of other great injuries which left me feeling sorry for myself...the time has come to build myself back up.

Oh yeah, some stuff about me. I am ex military, got booted after my last major injury. My name is Jason. I stand at a nice even 6' flat. Target weight is a nice little 200 or so lbs...but my first major goal is to just get below 300 lbs.

Well, my first workout last night went great...had one issue with my fat thighs rubbing on the last little run me and my workout partner did...guess tonight I will just do some abs and some stair stepper until stuff is better, lol. The diet is going very good as well...i do notice i am getting headaches, but i think it is caffine withdraws. I am def gonna have to get some fish cause i can see myself getting bored with chicken and fast.

Soooo, its day 4 of the entire diet/workout thing. I have thankfully noticed I have more motivation this time then I have ever before. Also, for the first time, I am really looking forward to getting into the gym when I get off work. Obviously the scales at the gym still wont work with me, I hope in the next week or two I will actually be able to put a number to my weight. The diet is also going very well which is a great thing.

So far there is one week down on my diet...everything is going well. I still refuse to weigh myself, but I am thinking I will be doing it maybe in another week or two.

Sooo, this is the beginning of week 3....I missed the gym last week due to hurricanes and junk, lol. I have had a couple slips on the diet but nothing that lasts more than 1 meal. I just gotta try my best to keep to it and not slip so much, lol. I do feel a little more energy and think I am losing a touch of weight.
