So, I'm almost at the end of my week, and have lost 5 pounds. My spirit is up, and so is my energy.
I've been going on a 1,200 calorie-or-under diet, eating nothing but fruits, and vegetables. Small breakfast; an egg, and a citrus fruit. Large lunch; usually a big salad filled with shaved carrots, cucumbers, and some cherry 'maters. Small dinner; mostly steamed stuff. I had a baked potato, steamed broccoli(covered in low-fat cheese.), steamed carrots, and some cabbage with some vinegar throughout the week so far.
Bought all of this week's food for a little under $19. Not too shabby.
I think Fridays will be the day that I have meat. Maybe 3oz's would be okay for lunch. It'll keep me looking forward to the end of the week :).

A little advice from my grandfather a few years ago: "Drink an ounce or two of cider vinegar in the morning, and your food will digest a whole lot better. You know how it burns when it goes down? Think of how it burns all of the bad stuff out of the stuff you're putting in you."

I started doing that as well. I really do think it helps with the digestion of the food.
