My son was trying not to laugh, I can see that in him but I was showing such a stern face so he didn't really dare but we did laugh at one part ..when I mumbled something wrongly and it sounded so funny and then he looked at me and when I had looked back, he couldn't help himself and starting laughing..

Interesting..abt your baking experiences..I also do like baking but sometimes I can't be bothered to do the tedious ones as I have to be the one doing most of the cleaning LOOL...

I don't have that channel on my cable..hmm sounds interesting apart from that STYLE channel which you had also mentioned earlier..


hey, I can understand. If my maid is not around. I will be sooooo lazy to cook, I really hate cleaning up. I am also lazy to slice and dice. I usually ask her to prepare everythng that I want and I just go ahead and do it, she then clean up after. Best thing about having her! lol! and... my maid sings as she do her work, quite funny but she does have a nice voice.

Oh yes, style channel!! I really love style channel and also E entertainment. Im sorry but im really a kaypoh! and I love listening to E news celebrity gossip and such!! lol!! Can be quite funny at times.

Also, I found this funny video which was featured on E entertaiment last week.




Style channel features celebrity make up artist, make over, house deco and such. Whatever got to do with style. They usually talk about make up, hair, fashion. Its interesting. I did pick up a few things. I had forgotten many things over the years. So, its quite refreshing.

Yes i love the idea of makeovers be in for ourselves, the kitchen, home or the food..i love all those stuff and also the juicy celebrities news/stories..my husband said i am such a kepo but i just love reading those stories...and seeing the pictures as well..

Lucky for you for having the helper ...no wonder you can do all sort of cooking even the dicing and the preparation is done by her..so all you need to know is just do the middle work and the tasting and the rest is settled by her..lucky lucky you..:) tats explain why I hardly cook other stuff...apart from the normal lunch or dinner over the weekends...

Haha... then you should have that channel package. Its a whole list of channels and its not really very expensive since there are so many channels that we are getting. I actually took the pack cause I wanted the Crime Investigation & Fox Crime channel but after watching those channel for a month, i got sick of it. I like to eat in front of the TV and its not nice to eat in front of crime Investigation channel coz its so GORE!! Sometimes they feature the actual dead body, mutiliated pictures, or dead body pictures that are so black cause its so many days old. Its really quite shocking. The crimes are interesting and the serial killers but after a while its really sickening. Id rather watch the E entertainment or style or food or health channel coz, these channels are usually more happy generally.

if you watch the discovery health channel, this one has diet tips and all. I like BIG MEDICINE. this show, u can watch all the really very overweight people go through weight loss through surgery. One guy was 1000 lbs bed bound. He lost 500 lbs by himself to qualify for surgey and is still losing the rest. Its really interesting.
 
Do you have just days where you feel really good with the weight and everything else and there are some days when you just feel like S&**..I think I felt that the past few days...I don't know why..but I just feel down and began stuffing and I forgot about my NO NO on rice..:-( I think partly was due to the infection that I had..I have been feeling pain since last Wednesday till today..Couldn't go to see the dentist yesterday as Hub had to work and there is no way I am going to bring 2 hyper kids into the dentist clinic while the dentist checked on me..I have to make an appt for tomorrow instead. Can't go in the morning as I am needed to be in the office by morning.....I have been eating Panadol Extra every 4 to 6 hours non stop..I know its bad but I have got no choice..I hope it will be a better day later today and tomorrow..We are planning to take the kids out later..not sure where to go yet...hope that i will be a better mood :-(
 
Have not been writing for almost a week!! Had a busy busy week at work and no time to update...Let's see if i can recap on both diet and exercise..

Monday -
Exercise - 30 mins on SLIM in 6
Food - Bfast/ nutrimeal, Lunch/ 1 pc wholemeal bread /high tea (to celebrate god mum's bday) /Dinner NOPE

Tuesday
Exercise - Walking more than 15000 steps.
Food - Can't recall but i know i still ate quite well.

Wednesday
Exercise - The biggest loser workout / 25 mins
Walking - more than 23634 steps
Food - Had McMuffin minus the top bun with ice milo (small)
Lunch - Had 2 small puffs
Dinner - shared McD dinner with cousin, couldn't find a good place to eat after walking for almost an hour!!

Thursday
Exercise - Morning no exercise, walking more than 120000 steps
Food - can't recall - but still ate well..

Friday
Exercise - Morning 20 mins, TBL
Food - Shared breakfast with son at McDonald, didn't eat much just drank most of the ice milo.
Lunch - high tea ( to celebrate hubby bday and wedding anniversary)
Dinner - No dinner

Saturday

Did 25 mins of Denise Austin - Boot camp.
Didn't eat much lunch as was busy with Son's school orientation, drank a lot..

4pm - small slice of carrot cake

8pm - dinner at mum's place..(indian meal with banana leave)

Had to eat the:

Rice, fried chicken, fish...dhal...

I do feel miserable on some days and really happy on most.

Like just yesterday, I told my dad.. he is the offically more fatter than me. haha.. cause I dropped to 1 kg lower than him and he quickly got on the scale and told my sister to tell me ( we were on the phone since he stays in JB) that the scale shows 112KG, well, when I was on a scale it shows 113 and when im on his scale im always around 3-4 KG lighter than my original weight.. ok whatever I said. I shall beat you I said! haha To tell you the truth, I did feel a little dissapointed.
 
I totally understand what you mean...its been a funny week for me...some days ok some days not...and I have been busy especially with the preparation of the school stuff for my kids..and other stuff....but am so happy to hear that you are doing well and losing weight..
 
Hi Taz. I am new to this forum and I was reading your postings. I want to say good luck on your weight lose. I know what you are going threw. I have a self esteem issue as well but I am working on it every day. Good Luck to you!!

Thanks for your encouragement..I have been going on and off with this diary, NOT good i know but its just been crazy even trying to update my daily diet intake and exercise routines..but am trying to get back into the routine..good luck with your weight loss journey as well.

Sunday 7 Dec

Diet:

Breakfast, a few spoonsful of muesli, char kueh with coffee black

Lunch : handful of muesli

Dinner: longtong, a few spoonsful of sambal goreng, fruits

No exercise
 
Exercise log:

I have been maintaining to walk about 15000 to 17000 steps almost every weekday ..and I have been burning about 450 to 600 calories daily..It works quite well especially on weekdays since I am working and working out in the morning as well..

Working out: Stop working on Slim in 6 for the moment and have started my Turbo JamsI will either do the 45 mins workout or the 30 mins cardio..for about 3 to 5 times a week.
