Tae bo

Any idea on which Tae Bo video works best for overall weight loss and toning. There seems to be a lot out there.
 
I really like taebo and has helped me become the most fit i have been in years! I used billy blanks first original taebo viedo set at the advanced level. I just recently bought his total body blaster but haven't had a chance to do it yet...i'll let you know how it is!
 
Tea bo is terrible.

the concept is good for morale, and to make exersise more fun.

However...
1, if you want to learn karate - learn karate
2, you'll concentrate too much on punching fast and offen that you'll forget about form. If you wanna punch for fitness, you gotta learn to punch properly first. Tae bo could damage your joints if you dont know basic martial arts 1st. By basic I'm taking 2-5 years training.
3, there are much better ways of getting fit. Interval training has proven to be the fastest way to loose weight and improve fitness. Sure tae bo will get you fit, but it'll take longer.
 
i've lost 40 some lbs on a balance between weight training, cardio/running and Shotokan karate. I've been in it for one year, and my balance, agility, coordination, flexibility is way better, and guess what, I can fight if I have to! (i know just enough technique to get me in trouble :) )

Mnofkent is right,

If you wanna lose weight, do cardio. If you wanna get more fit and learn how to punch, kick, strike, and block properly, take up martial arts. I also thinks he would agree with me when I say if I had to fight someone, I'd rather fight someone who punches like they were doing Tae Bo rather that catching a teisho uchi (palm heel strike) to the chin by a martial artist :)
