Swiss balls are not for heavy workouts, there for flexibility and not much else. If you want a flat stomach you gotta burn more cals than you eat. Simple as that.

swiss ball is geart for functional workout, there are too many things you can do with swiss. lower body. arms, back.... you even can do cardio with it

Diet is going to be your main key, becaues if you are intaking more calories than you need and still exercising, I hope you're at least maintaining yourself, because diet is 80% of your success.... Try looking for the book at the local libraries... or try and search for the book to see if you can get it cheaper else where (might even be able to get it used)....

You can do heavy workouts on swiss/stability balls, you just have to have a great core and progess yourself up to them... That's why they design burst resistance balls up to I think 1,000 lbs....

1000lbs!!!!
Geeezz! Didn't know that.
Still, Its very tricky to lift heavy on a ball. cos you gotta get on it with your weight.

Its good for making BWE more tricky.

Yup... 1,000 pounds of dynamic pressure

True, it would be very difficult... but who said exercise is easy :p There's a couple of my "muscle head clients" who I got doing Single Arm Chest Press on the stability ball w/ 80 pound dumbbells... so if they can do 80 pounds on the ball, think how strong they will be on the bench :D ... Strong chest, rock solid core :)
