stop lifting more push ups?

i have a question that i've been pondering about for the last couple weeks. what happens if you stop weight lifting and instead just do push ups? is that gonna be bad or does that have no effect, will i loose muscle mass since i stopped weight lifting? any comments and opinions would be helpful.
 
i do both i go pushups everyother day and i weight train cuz i got to keep my push ups going because i am going to the military so yeah u can do both i do both
 
yea thats what i've been doing but i wanted to see if there would be a difference if i stopped lifting and just did pushups. but i understand waht you guys are tryin to say
