Stomach Fat

For the past month or so, I've been working out more and at the same time I'm trying to gain weight (not fat, but muscle mass...rhyme not intended). I'm naturally a thin person, but I've noticed (for the longest time) that when I sit down, my stomach isn't flat. The bottom part (of fat) sags, I guess would be the right word to use. Are there any kind of excercises I can do to trim off the fat? And how many sets/reps should I do and how often?

do more cardio buddy :] mixed with intensive weight lifting. thats my tip. and eating right!!!

u need to switch up ur exercises, from what i'm seeing, u probably do the same workouts for a while. u need to switch it up like 3-4 weeks. cuz ur body adapts

took me a while to get my abs too. so i'm sayin from experience

There is no exercise to trim down that specific region (spot reducing). The only way you can get rid of it is by eliminating fat everywhere. Aside from lifting and dieting, I recommend cardio, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) in particular. They burn a lot of calories and keep your metabolism going after your workout.

Here's a link for some HIIT exercises:

Good luck!

& varying from person to person.

ur stomach might be the last to you will see transform.
basically like the hippo guy above said. u need to do a full body workout. theres no such thing as "SPOT" reducing. lol

If it only when you sit down, that is normal. In my experiences, looking down at yourself and judging how flat your stomach is doesn't work very well - you'll always look fatter than you really are. I thought the same thing about my stomach but when I looked in the mirror, it looked fine.

If you're worried about gaining mass then don't worry about gaining a little fat too.

Hey Joey007, you say it took you a while to get your six pack. How many months do you reckon it took roughly to get your six pack. Id say i was half way there now and ive been working the abs for about 4 months now.

Don't worry i'm incredibly skinny and the same thing happens to me. Hell, it even happened to Brad Pitt on Snatch, and he had like no bodyfat whatsoever. But if you're still concerned, eat healthy and do more cardio to lose fat all around. i love swimming the best because it does the whole body and it's hot as hell outside so swimming is refreshing.
